Abstract:
A wireless charger and controlling method thereof are disclosed, by which a charging area can be displayed in further consideration of user's convenience. The present invention includes a power supply unit configured to supply a power by wireless to a power receiver located in a charging area within a predetermined distance, a light projection unit configured to project a light on an area around the wireless charger, and a control unit configured to control the light projection unit to project the light on the area around the wireless charger to visually discriminate the charging area.
Abstract:
A coil for forming an induced magnetic field may include a first coil bundle formed of a first conducting wire wound in a first direction, the first coil bundle having an inner space of a prescribed inner width, a second coil bundle formed of a second conducting wire wound in a second direction, the second coil bundle having a prescribed outer width that is smaller than the inner width of the first coil bundle, and a connector that electrically connects the first conducting wire and the second conducting wire to each other. The second coil bundle may be provided in the inner space of the first coil bundle. The conducting wires of the first and second coil bundles may be wound in opposite directions and gaps between coil bundles may be changed. Accordingly, the magnetic field can be more evenly distributed in a wider area while maintaining a constant inductance.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a wireless charger for a mobile terminal, by which charging can be raised irrespective of a location of a mobile terminal mounted on the wireless charger. The present invention includes a housing, a power transmitting coil provided within the housing in a manner of being spirally wound plural times, a power supply module configured to externally supply a power to the power transmitting coil, a driving unit connected to a spiral center of the power transmitting coil, a sensing unit configured to sense a location of the mobile terminal mounted on a topside of the housing, and a control unit controlling the driving unit to shift the spiral center of the power transmitting coil to the location of the mobile terminal sensed by the sensing unit.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal including a battery; a wireless communication unit configured to provide wireless communication; a memory configured to store at least one user battery charging pattern previously used for charging the battery; and a controller configured to start a charging of the battery, estimate a battery charging stop time based on the stored user battery charging pattern, and control the charging speed of the battery to complete charging of the battery before the estimated battery charging stop time.
