A headset including a wireless communication unit configured to provide wireless communication; a first microphone mounted on the headset; and a second microphone to be placed within an ear of the user wearing the headset; a controller configured to receive a phone call via the wireless communication unit from an external device, select either one of the first microphone or the second microphone to receive a voice signal of the user responding to the received phone call, in response to the selection of the first microphone, receive the voice signal of the user through the first microphone, correct a sound quality of the voice signal received through the first microphone, and transmit the corrected voice signal to the external device, and in response to the selection of the second microphone, receive the voice signal of the user from the external auditory canal of the ear of the user having the second microphone placed therein, correct a sound quality of the voice signal received through the second microphone and transmit the corrected voice signal to the external device.

An apparatus and method for driving an electric device using speech recognition are disclosed. The method for driving an electric device using speech recognition includes switching an operation stop state to a pre-operation speech recognition standby mode if a first keyword is recognized at the operation stop state; starting basic operation of the device if a second keyword is recognized at the pre-operation speech recognition standby mode; and performing a corresponding command if at least one of a plurality of command languages that may be recognized by a user command is recognized within a predefined time during the basic operation, wherein the first keyword, the second keyword and the plurality of command languages are different from one another.

Provided is a home appliance and a speech recognition server system, in which a plurality of speech recognition home electronics may perform a command intended by a user without conflicting with one another using artificial intelligence with respect to a speech command of the user and a method for controlling such a home appliance and a speech recognition server system. The present disclosure determines whether a first group to which a control target device belongs is identical to a second group to which a speech recognition device belongs when the control target device is different from the speech recognition device. Then, when the first group is different from the second group, the present disclosure controls an operation of the control target device based on the control command of the user. Accordingly, the user may control the control target device disposed in a space different from another space in which the speech recognition device is disposed.

The present invention relates to a washing machine and a server system that recommend a laundry course and washing tip information in consideration of information on a kind of laundry and a degree of contamination inputted by using artificial intelligence through speech recognition, and a method for controlling such washing machine and server system. The present invention extracts a cloth-word indicating a kind of clothes of laundry and a stain-word indicating a kind of contaminant. Then, the present invention determines a laundry course in consideration of the cloth-word. Then, washing tip information on the stain-word is searched in a pre-stored database and the searched washing tip information is provided to a user. As a result, the user can be notified of a washing method capable of effectively removing the contaminant.
