The present invention relates to a mobile terminal which is capable of executing some functions in a low-power state, and a control method thereof. The mobile terminal according to the present invention may comprise: a user input unit for sensing a predetermined user input in a power-off state; a control unit for entering into an emergency settlement mode, in which only some functions are executed using the remaining power, on a basis of user information inputted by the user input being authenticated; and a wireless communication unit for receiving a settlement request signal from an external terminal and transmitting settlement information corresponding to the settlement request signal to the external terminal in the emergency settlement mode.

The present invention relates to a mobile terminal, and more particularly, to a mobile terminal capable of checking and restoring deleted data in a convenient manner, and a method for managing deleted information thereof. The method for managing deleted information of a mobile terminal includes: sensing a deletion command with respect to content; inputting a setting of a deletion history; deleting corresponding content according to the input setting of the deletion history, and storing the deletion history; and displaying the stored deletion history together with other content which has not been deleted.

A mobile terminal according to the present invention comprises a wireless communication unit; touch screen; memory; and a controller displaying on the touch screen an electronic receipt received through the wireless communication unit as payment of product is being processed, generating notification information on the basis of payment information obtained from the electronic receipt and service information according to the payment, and storing the notification information in the memory in conjunction with a calendar application.
