    Abstract: A transverse flux type reciprocating motor and a reciprocating compressor having a transverse flux type reciprocating motor are provided. The transverse flux type reciprocating motor may include a first reciprocating module including a first stator and a first rotor that reciprocates with respect to the first stator, a second reciprocating module including a second stator disposed to be spaced apart from the first stator in parallel to an axial direction and a second rotor that reciprocates with respect to the second rotor in the axial direction, and a connection member that connects side surfaces, which face each other, of the first rotor and the second rotors to each other. Thus, a magnetic resonance spring for allowing the rotor to be resonant with respect to the stator may be realized by using a force that moves to a side at which magnetic resistance is low between the stator and the rotor.

    Abstract: A compressor according to the present disclosure may include a bearing member located out of a range in an axial direction of a rotor. Accordingly, the bearing member and the rotor cannot overlap each other so as to reduce a bearing area. This may result in reducing a frictional loss of the compressor and ensuring a press-fit length of the rotor, so as to prevent interference between the rotor and a stator. Also, an area of an oil passage can be increased without an increase in the frictional loss, resulting in an increase in an amount of oil supplied.

    Abstract: A transverse flux reciprocating motor and a reciprocating compressor including a transverse flux reciprocating motor are provided. The transverse flux reciprocating motor may include a stator having an inner stator and an outer stator located outside and spaced apart from the inner stator in a radial direction, at least one magnet coil wound on the stator, at least one magnet coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the inner stator or an inner circumferential surface of the outer stator and having different magnetic poles arranged in an orthogonal direction of flux generated by the magnet coil, and a mover inserted into a cavity formed between the inner stator and the outer stator, formed of a magnetic material and reciprocating with respect to the stator. A magnetic resonant spring for causing resonant motion of the mover with respect to the stator using a force moving to low magnetic resistance between the stator and the mover is implemented, thereby reducing a size and weight of the reciprocating motor and the reciprocating compressor including the reciprocating motor and obtaining higher efficiency.

    Abstract: Provided are a moving core-type reciprocating motor and a reciprocating compressor having the same. The moving core-type reciprocating motor includes a stator including an inner stator and an outer stator having one side connected to one side of the inner stator and the other side spaced apart from the other side of the inner stator in a radius direction to define a gap together with the other side of the inner stator, a magnet coil wound between the inner stator and the outer stator, a magnet fixed to at least one of the inner stator and the outer stator so as to be exposed to the gap, a rotor including a moving core disposed in the gas and made of a magnetic material to reciprocate with respect to the stator and the magnet and a hollow connection member made of a nonmagnetic material and supporting the moving core so that the moving core is exposed to the gap toward the magnet. Thus, the reciprocating motor and the reciprocating compressor having the same are compact and lightweight to more improve efficiency.
