Abstract: A scroll compressor having a back pressure discharge is provided. The scroll compressor may include a casing, a discharge cover, a main frame, a first scroll supported by the main frame, and a second scroll forming at least a discharge chamber together with the first scroll. The second scroll may include a discharge opening through which an operation fluid may be discharged. The scroll compressor may also include a back pressure chamber assembly fastened to the second scroll with a Efastener, a back pressure discharge opening that communicates with the back pressure chamber, and a discharge path by which the discharge chamber and the discharge space communicate with each other. The scroll compressor may further include a check valve disposed at the back pressure discharge opening to prevent the operation fluid from being introduced into the back pressure chamber.

Abstract: A compressor may include a casing, and a compression device installed inside of the casing and that compresses the refrigerant while rotating by receiving a rotational force of an electric motor through a rotational shaft. A high/low pressure separation plate may be installed at an upper portion of the compression device, and an insulation plate may be provided to block the high/low pressure separation plate and the suction tube from each other by being located therebetween. The insulation plate may reduce heat transfer between a refrigerant discharge space having a high temperature located at the upper portion of the high/low pressure separation plate and a refrigerant suction space having a relatively low temperature located at a lower portion of the high/low pressure separation plate.

The scroll compressor may include a casing, a discharge cover to partition an inside of the casing into suction and discharge spaces, a first scroll, a second scroll that defines compression chambers together with the first scroll and includes an intermediate pressure discharge hole that communicates with a compression chamber having an intermediate pressure of the compression chambers, a back pressure plate that defines a back pressure chamber that accommodates a refrigerant discharged from the intermediate pressure discharge hole, a floating plate that defines the back pressure chamber together with the back pressure plate, and a gasket disposed between the back pressure plate and the second scroll and having an intermediate pressure communication hole that allows the intermediate pressure discharge hole to communicate with the intermediate pressure suction hole. The gasket may block communication between the back pressure chamber and the suction and discharge spaces.

Abstract: A scroll compressor may include an oil supply passage formed in a main frame. A first end of the oil supply passage may be open toward an orbiting space of the main frame and a second end may be open toward an Oldham ring. With this configuration, even if refrigerant suctioned through a refrigerant suction pipe sweeps away oil, which lubricates a sliding surface between a key and a key groove adjacent to the refrigerant suction pipe while passing through between the key and the key groove, oil may be quickly and smoothly supplied to the sliding surface. This may prevent wear between the key and the key groove so as to enhance efficiency of the compressor.

Abstract: A scroll compressor may include a frame, an orbiting scroll provided with at least one first key groove, a non-orbiting scroll provided with at least one second key groove and coupled to the orbiting scroll to form a compression chamber, and an anti-rotation ring disposed between the frame and the orbiting scroll. The anti-rotation ring may include a ring, at least one first key that axially extends from a first surface of the ring and slidingly coupled to the at least one first key groove of the orbiting scroll, and at least one second key that axially extends from the first surface of the ring and slidingly coupled to the at least one second key groove of the non-orbiting scroll. The first and second keys may be provided along a circumferential direction. This may allow processability of a one-way anti-rotation ring. Further, increase in weight may be prevented while reducing deformation by providing a weight-reduced portion in addition to a reinforcing portion.
