摘要: A battery pack includes a battery cell stack formed by a plurality of stacked battery cells, a battery module housing configured to wrap the other outer surfaces of the battery cell stack excluding a first surface and a second surface, from which electrode leads protrude, a water tank configured to supply a coolant to the battery cell or the battery module housing, and a battery pack case configured to receive a plurality of battery module housings. The battery pack case includes a pack case space portion located adjacent to the first surface and a crossbeam located adjacent to the second surface, whereby, when fire breaks out in the battery cell, it is possible to rapidly and accurately prevent spread of flames of the ignited battery cell.

摘要: The present invention relates to a battery module including a battery cell stack comprising a plurality of battery cells, a module housing configured to receive at least one battery cell stack disposed in an overall length direction, a high voltage (HV) connector configured to electrically connect battery modules to each other, a low voltage (LV) assembly configured to sense the voltage and temperature of the plurality of battery cells, an insulating oil configured to cool the plurality of battery cells, and a cooling port configured to allow the insulating oil to be introduced and discharged therethrough, wherein the insulating oil directly cools the plurality of battery cells while flowing in the module housing, whereby cooling efficiency and energy density are improved, and a battery pack including the same.

摘要: The present invention relates to a battery cell that can include an electrode assembly configured with two or more unit stacks connected to each other in series or in parallel, a battery case configured to receive the electrode assembly therein, and an insulative protection member configured to protect an electrode tab portion of the unit stacks. The overall length of the battery case can be three or more times the overall width of the battery case. A positive electrode lead and a negative electrode lead can extend outwards from the battery case protruding in opposite directions. A plurality of unit stacks can be used to implement a long battery cell, and a connection portion at which the plurality of unit stacks are connected is reinforced to improve safety of the battery cell.

摘要: A battery module housing includes a receiving portion configured to allow a battery cell stack to be mounted therein. The receiving portion comprises a first side surface and a second side surface, a bolting portion configured to couple a plurality of battery module housings disposed adjacent to each other, and a buffer portion configured to absorb volume expansion of the battery cell stack, whereby a battery pack capable of accommodating an increase in volume of the battery cell stack while having reduced weight and minimized construction is provided.
