摘要: A separator for an electrochemical device provided with a porous coating layer including multiple types of binder resins, and a method for manufacturing the same. The separator shows high adhesion between an electrode and the separator, even when any separate adhesive layer is not disposed on the surface of the separator. In addition, the separator shows higher adhesion to an electrode, as compared to a separator using a fluorinated binder resin, such as polyvinylidene fluoride, used conventionally in the art. Therefore, when introducing the separator to a battery, it is possible to manufacture an electrode assembly under a mild temperature and pressure condition, to improve the productivity of assemblage, to reduce defect generation, and thus to increase the yield. Further, the separator shows high affinity to an electrolyte, as compared to a semi-crystalline polymer, such as a fluorinated binder resin, and thus improves the output characteristics of a battery.

摘要: A separator, and an electrochemical device including the separator, including a porous polymer substrate including a core portion substrate having a plurality of pores, and skin portion substrates on both surfaces of the core portion substrate and having a plurality of pores; and a porous coating layer. Both the core portion substrate and the skin portion substrates include first inorganic particles, or only the core portion substrate includes first inorganic particles, and when both the core portion substrate and the skin portion substrates include the first inorganic particles, the core portion substrate includes the first inorganic particles at a higher weight percentage as compared to the skin portion substrates. The porous coating layer includes a plurality of second inorganic particles and a binder polymer partially or totally on surfaces of the second inorganic particles. The first inorganic particles have a higher Mohs hardness than the second inorganic particles.

摘要: A wireless battery management system includes a plurality of slave BMSs coupled to a plurality of battery modules in one-to-one correspondence. Each slave BMS is configured to operate in active mode and sleep mode. Each slave BMS is configured to wirelessly transmit a detection signal indicating a state of the battery module. The wireless battery management system further includes a master BMS configured to wirelessly receive the detection signal from each of the plurality of slave BMSs. The master BMS is configured to set a scan cycle and a scan duration for each of the plurality of slave BMSs based on the detection signal, and wirelessly transmit a control signal to the plurality of slave BMSs. The control signal includes a wireless balancing command indicating the scan cycle and the scan duration set for each of the plurality of slave BMSs.

摘要: A separator for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery including the separator, where the separator includes a porous polymer substrate; and a porous coating layer on at least one surface of the porous polymer substrate. The porous coating layer includes inorganic particles having a Mohs hardness of 3.5 to 8.5 and a binder polymer. The binder polymer includes a first binder polymer having a storage modulus at 70° C. of 500 Mpa or more. The separator shows excellent compression resistance.
