    Abstract: Provided is a home appliance and a speech recognition server system, in which a plurality of speech recognition home electronics may perform a command intended by a user without conflicting with one another using artificial intelligence with respect to a speech command of the user and a method for controlling such a home appliance and a speech recognition server system. The present disclosure determines whether a first group to which a control target device belongs is identical to a second group to which a speech recognition device belongs when the control target device is different from the speech recognition device. Then, when the first group is different from the second group, the present disclosure controls an operation of the control target device based on the control command of the user. Accordingly, the user may control the control target device disposed in a space different from another space in which the speech recognition device is disposed.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a washing machine and a server system that recommend a laundry course and washing tip information in consideration of information on a kind of laundry and a degree of contamination inputted by using artificial intelligence through speech recognition, and a method for controlling such washing machine and server system. The present invention extracts a cloth-word indicating a kind of clothes of laundry and a stain-word indicating a kind of contaminant. Then, the present invention determines a laundry course in consideration of the cloth-word. Then, washing tip information on the stain-word is searched in a pre-stored database and the searched washing tip information is provided to a user. As a result, the user can be notified of a washing method capable of effectively removing the contaminant.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a robot cleaner, and a method for controlling the same.Firstly, a sound source direction and a sound source position may be detected by one or more microphones, e,g., three microphones, and a specific event sound may be recognized. Then, the recognized specific event sound may be output to a cleaner body in the form of a message, or may be provided via a communication network. This can allow the circumstances to be easily monitored.Secondly, a sound recognition function may be updated using an ambient sound, for sound recognition from background noise and environmental noise, in a robust and precise manner. This can enhance a sound recognition rate, and improve stability and efficiency.Thirdly, the robot cleaner may be moved to a detected direction or position of a sound source with respect to an event sound. Then, image information may be detected, or whether an abnormal situation has occurred or not may be determined. Such information may be provided via a communication network.
