    Abstract: A linear compressor includes a cylinder defining a compression space for a refrigerant, a piston reciprocated in an axis direction within the cylinder, and a linear motor providing power to the piston. The linear motor includes an inner stator disposed outside the cylinder, the inner stator including a center core and a side core disposed on at least one side of the center core, an outer stator disposed to be spaced outward from the inner stator in a radius direction, a permanent magnet movably disposed in an air gap defined between the inner stator and the outer stator, and a deformation prevention device for preventing the inner stator from being deformed.

    Abstract: A drive motor includes a stator having an accommodating space and a rotor rotatably provided in the accommodating space and rotated by a magnetic interaction with the stator, wherein the rotor includes a rotor core into which a magnetic member is inserted and first and second flux barriers formed to penetrate through the rotor core and extending along a circumferential direction of the rotor core from both sides of the magnetic member, wherein a length of the first flux barrier and a length of the second flux barrier are different from each other.

    Abstract: A compressor includes a first scroll and a second scroll engaged with the first scroll for performing an orbiting motion relative to the first scroll to form a compression chamber along with the first scroll. A stator is disposed at one side of the second scroll and includes a stator core. A rotor is rotatably disposed inside the stator core, and includes a rotor core. A rotary shaft has one end portion eccentrically coupled to the second scroll and the other end portion coupled to the rotor core. The rotor core is formed with at least one space portion axially recessed into the rotor core.

    Abstract: A motor for a compressor, and a reciprocating compressor having the same, are provided. A winding coil may be formed by removing a bobbin from the winding coil, and then coating an insulating material on an outer circumferential surface of the winding coil, to allow heat and moisture generated by the winding coil to be emitted to outside and provide enhanced performance and reliability. As a bobbin is removed from the winding coil, a coil line may be wound on the removed portion of the bobbin to enhance an occupation ratio by the coil line on the same area, and thus enhance efficiency of the motor. An elastic member or an adhesive may be inserted or applied into a space between the winding coil and a coil insertion groove of an inner stator to minimize vibrations of a coil line. The insulating material, which is in the form of powder, may melt while the coil line is adhered as the self-bonding material melts, forming a coating layer. Accordingly, the winding coil may be easily fabricated, and fabrication costs of the winding coil may be reduced.
