    摘要: Thermoplastic olefinic compositions comprising (a) at least one ethylene/α-olefin polymer having a PRR between 8 and 70 and (b) at least one one polyolefin polymer selected from the group of polyethylene homopolymers and α-olefin interpolymers having a PRR less than 4, ethylene/acrylic acid copolymers, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymers, and styrenic/olefinic block interpolymers and an (a)/(b) weight ratio of greater than 50/less than 50 to 90/10. The compositions are used in extrusion, calendaring, blow molding, foaming and thermoforming processes to make a variety of articles, such as automotive instrument panel skins.

    摘要: The invention is directed to compositions comprising an elastomer component and a propylene component, and in which the elastomer component comprises at least one ethylene/α-olefin polymer, optionally containing a diene, and the polypropylene component comprises at least one branched polypropylene. Preferably, the elastomer component has a melt tan delta between about 0.7 and about 8, as measured by parallel plate rheometer at 0.1 rad/sec, 190° C., and 15 percent strain; and the ratio of the “melt tan delta of the elastomer component” to the “melt tan delta of the propylene component” is from 0.5 to 4. The invention also provides for method of making such compositions, and to low gloss articles prepared from the same. The inventive compositions are particularly suitable for fabricating thermoformed sheeting with reduced gloss.

    摘要: Efficient transfer of data to and from random access memory is described. Multiple request sources and a memory system comprise memory modules having memory banks, each bank containing rows of data. The retrieval comprises transferring all data pursuant to a given request by one source before any data is transferred pursuant to a subsequent request from said second source. This retrieval is achieved using a memory arbiter that implements an algorithm for atomic read/write. Each bank is assigned a FIFO buffer by the arbiter to store access requests. The access requests are arbitrated, and an encoded value of a winner of arbitration is loaded into the relevant FIFO buffer(s) before choosing the next winner. When an encoded value reaches the head of the buffer, all associated data is accessed in the given bank before accessing data for another request source.
