摘要： The present invention takes the advantage of the WLAN resources in hotspots for voice and data connections and enables seamless handover between WWAN and WLAN and vice versa. This allows two users in the hotspots to communicate with each other by making a voice over IP (VoIP) or video call, thus achieving cost savings for the end users and WWAN resources savings for the wireless operators. According to one embodiment of the invention, a mobile terminal has wireless wide area network (WWAN) and wireless local area network (WLAN) interfaces. The mobile terminal via a WWAN. 摘要： A method is proposed for a mobile terminal in mobile communication systems to transfer non-speech data in voice channel, comprising steps of: encapsulating the non-speech data to be sent to another mobile terminal into IBD frames; storing said IBD frames in a buffer; detecting whether a speech burst sent to said another mobile terminal is over; checking whether there is non-speech data to be sent to said another mobile terminal if detecting that said speech burst is over; sending at least one non-speech data to said another mobile terminal via voice channel if there is non-speech data to be sent. By modifying the SID frame and silence speech frame, this method realizes transmission of non-speech via voice channel rather than via dedicated data channel, so as to save radio resources of the system.

摘要： The present invention provides a 3D handwriting recognition system that allows users to freely write words or characters in a 3D space in a touchless manner, without requiring any physical medium such as a pad or a tablet. The users' handwriting input in a 3D space will be tracked by an input device of the system that generates corresponding 3D motion data and wirelessly transfers the 3D motion data to a recognition device of the system. The 3D motion data will be converted and then mapped onto a 2D plane to generate corresponding 2D images for handwriting recognition. In this way, the users' inputting will never be limited to any screen, pad or plane, and the users will have more flexibility and enjoyable writing experience.
