    摘要: In connection with cleaning of gas from particles suspended therein and being heavier than the gas the gas is caused to rotate in a chamber delimited in a stationary housing, so that the particles by centrifugal force are separated from the gas and are thrown towards a stationary housing. The rotation of the gas is accomplished by means of a rotor, which includes a stack of conical separation discs arranged coaxially with each other and concentrically with the rotational axis of the rotor. The gas to be cleaned is caused to flow through interspaces between the separation discs, while they are rotating, the particles by the centrifugal force being brought into contact with the insides of the separation discs. In contact with the insides of the separation discs the particles first move along the generatrices of the separation discs and then move along inclined guiding members, which are arranged in contact with said insides. The guiding members collect particles moving across different sectors of the separation discs and conduct them to separate areas distributed around the surrounding edges of the separation discs. From these areas the particles in an agglomerated or coalesced form are thrown away from the separation discs towards the stationary housing.

    摘要: In a centrifugal separator, the rotor of which is adapted to be driven by means of a gaseous driving fluid, the rotor itself supports a ring of turbine blades extending around the rotational axis of the rotor. A stationary nozzle is adapted to direct a flow of the driving fluid towards the ring of turbine members. After the driving fluid has passed between the turbine blades and has influenced them for driving of the centrifugal rotor, it enters a reversing chamber formed by a stationary reversing member. In the reversing chamber the driving fluid is caused to change its direction and is then conducted again towards the ring of turbine members in order to be utilized a second time for driving of the centrifugal rotor.

    摘要: A method and a device for separation of a fluid in the liquid state comprising two liquids that are not mutually miscible, with different densities, wherein a first liquid is to be cleansed from a second liquid, whereby the fluid in the liquid state is conducted through a rotor where centrifugal separation of the second liquid from the first liquid takes place, and is then conducted into a tank, with the proportion of the second liquid being reduced to less than 5%, and by conducting the fluid, after centrifugal separation, through a restriction, whereby the pressure of the fluid in the liquid state is reduced, which causes portions of the fluid in the liquid state to evaporate so that further portions of the second liquid escape in the form of a gas which is conducted away, thereby further reducing the proportion of the second liquid in the outgoing fluid in the liquid state.

    摘要: This document describes a device for cleaning of crankcase gases from a combustion engine, and a combustion engine having such a device. An inlet conduit is connected to a crankcase of the combustion engine. A centrifugal separator receives a flow of crankcase gases from the crankcase via the inlet conduit and comprises a routable centrifuge rotor for centrifuging the crankcase gases. A drive device drives the centrifuge rotor. An outlet conduit discharges cleaned crankcase gases from the centrifugal separator. The rotary speed of the drive device, and thus the rotary speed of the centrifuge rotor, is controllable depending on the gas pressure in the crankcase. An export conduit may be connected to the inlet conduit and adapted to enable discharge of a flow of crankcase gases from the crankcase by-passing the centrifugal separator depending on the gas pressure in the crankcase. An import conduit may be connected to the inlet conduit and adapted to enable feeding of a flow of air from the surroundings to the crankcase depending on the gas pressure in the crankcase.

    摘要: In a centrifugal separator for cleaning a gas containing liquid impurities, a stationary casing encloses a separation space having an inner wall surface. An inlet is provided. A rotating member is provided in the separation space downstream the inlet rotates in a direction of rotation around an axis of rotation. The rotating member brings the gas to rotation in the direction of rotation for separation of liquid impurities from the gas. A gas outlet is provided downstream the rotating member for discharge of the cleaned gas. A first liquid outlet is provided upstream the gas outlet and downstream the rotating member for discharge of separated liquid impurities and comprises an outlet hole. A surrounding ring groove extends outwardly from the inner wall surface in the stationary casing and has a surrounding bottom surface, wherein the outlet hole extends outwardly from the bottom surface.

    摘要: The invention refers to a centrifugal separator for cleaning of a gas containing liquid impurities. The centrifugal separator comprises a stationary casing, which encloses a separation space and has an inner wall surface. A rotating member is provided in the separation space and arranged to rotate in a direction of rotation around an axis (x) of rotation. The rotating member brings the gas to rotation for separation of the liquid impurities from the gas. A gas outlet is provided for discharge of the cleaned gas. A first liquid outlet is provided downstream the rotating member for discharge of separated liquid impurities. The separation space comprises an annular surface which extends between the rotating member and the inner wall surface. The annular surface is configured to transport liquid impurities radially outwardly to the first liquid outlet.

    摘要: The invention refers to a centrifugal separator and a method of separating a product to a heavy phase and light phase. A centrifuge rotor encloses a closed separation space, which has a radially outer part for the heavy phase, a radially inner part for the light phase and a central gas-filled space. The radially outer part is separated from the radially inner part by a interface layer level. An inlet extends into the separation space for feeding the product. A first outlet extend from the radially outer part for discharge of the heavy phase. A second outlet extends from the radially inner part for discharge of the light phase. A control equipment permits control of the interface layer level to a desired radial position. A sensor senses a parameter related to the gas pressure in the central space. The control equipment controls the counter pressure in the first outlet in response to the sensed parameter for controlling the interface layer level to the desired radial position.

    摘要: The invention relates to a centrifugal separator having a bearing device and a lubricating device comprising a rotatable pump device. The pump device comprises a lubricant inlet to receive lubricant from a lubricant reservoir, and a duct to convey lubricant to an outlet device for delivering at least part of said lubricant in the form of lubricant mist through at least one lubricant outlet. The pump device further comprises a gas inlet and the outlet device comprises a gas outlet, whereby during rotation of the pump device a gas flow is maintained from the gas inlet to the gas outlet bringing along lubricant present in the duct towards the outlet device. The centrifugal separator further comprises a housing which surrounds the bearing device and the lubricating device and which allows lubricant mist to pass from the lubricating device to the bearing device in order to lubricate the latter.
