摘要: Multi-pole and single-pole circuit breakers include a housing and a reset lockout mechanism disposed within the housing. The reset lockout mechanism disables electrical communication between line and load terminals of the circuit breaker if a predefined condition exists. Some circuit breakers include a single actuator, transition between ON and OFF states, and are capable of performing test functions. The test functions may involve testing AFCI and/or GFCI functions of the circuit breakers. The test functions may be performed when the circuit breaker transitions from an OFF state to an ON state. Some circuit breakers including a reset lockout mechanism may be powered only on its line side. Some circuit breakers provide an electrical indication when they are in the OFF state.

摘要: An electrical device such as, for example, a battery-powered electrical switch is disclosed. The battery-powered wireless switch includes one or more mechanisms arranged and configured to provide simplified access for servicing (e.g., replacing) the batteries located within the wireless switch. In one embodiment, the wireless switch is arranged and configured so that the batteries may be accessed by reconfiguring the wireless switch from a first closed position to a second opened position to access the batteries. Thus arranged, removal of the wireless switch from a wall-box or a surface of a wall is not required, the user may only need to remove the wall-plate in order to reconfigure the wireless switch. In one embodiment, at least a portion of the wireless switch is pivoted from the first position to the second position to provide access to the batteries.

摘要: A wiring device includes a housing that encloses a line voltage port and a low-voltage port for providing power to at least one removable load. The removable load can couple to a connector PCB. The connector PCB may include a tongue portion with retention surface features and a body portion with supporting circuitry. The tongue portion may be disposed within a low-voltage port of the wiring device. A plurality of conductive traces may extend from the body to the tongue of the connector PCB. The low voltage port may include sidewalls disposed around the tongue portion to guide the plug of a removable load into engagement with the conductive traces of the tongue portion so that one or more of the plurality of conductive traces electrically contact the removable load to deliver power to the removable load.

摘要: A universal serial bus (USB) charging system includes a power supply including a plurality of power converters and a plurality of power supply outputs electrically coupled to the plurality of power converters, respectively. Each of the plurality of power converters is configured to convert an input voltage to a plurality of output voltages. A plurality of charging ports are electrically connected with the plurality of power supply outputs, respectively. Each of the plurality of charging ports provides an output voltage selected from the plurality of output voltages to an electronic device. A logic circuit is in electrical communication with the power supply and the plurality of charging ports. The logic circuit provides direct feedback to the power supply to output a particular output voltage of the plurality of output voltages to the plurality of charging ports and regulates a temperature of the plurality of charging ports.
