摘要： An implantable device (1) comprises a polymer structure (40) having an outer surface facing a surrounding tissue when the implantable device (1) is implanted in a subject body. At least a portion of the surface of the structure (40) has a semi-random pattern of extending micropillars (50). The semi-random pattern of micropillars (50) on the surface contributes to advantageous surface characteristics of the implantable device (1) in terms of reducing adhesion viable cells to the implantable device (1) as compared to regular patterns of micropillars (50).
