摘要： This invention relates to a device for preventing yarn loop formation and for saving the suctioning yarn on winding units. This device keeps the yarn under tension during the knotting and cone doffing steps. The device has a movable bar which is positioned adjacent to the upper end of a pirn during the unwinding process and which is shifted by an actuator to contact the pirn before the yarn is stopped. This is accomplished by keeping the yarn under tension from the pirn cone to a yarn-tensioning disc at the beginning ot the knotting and doffing cycles to prevent loops from forming. Additionally, this device limits the yarn consumption of the knotting cycle. By frictionally clamping the free end of the yarn with an anti-loop device, yarn is suctioned by a free yarn end feed nozzle in a shortened length thus limiting the amount of yarn removed and lost during a knotting cycle.

摘要： A device is disclosed, which is useful for subdividing and diluting an accumulated amount of pirns in bulk, which comprises a chute positioned between a pirn container, and a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt is prearranged to transfer and meter a limited number of pirns. Along the chute, at least one barrier wall is provided, which can move along a vertical, or substantially vertical, direction, and is driven by a drive source, whose enabling is commanded by a level sensor located downstream the same barrier wall. A plurality of movable barrier walls, following each other, transversely prearranged along the chute relatively to the pirn falling motion, can be used. 摘要： An apparatus and method for anchoring thread to the surface of a bobbin, the apparatus including a movable arm for grasping the bobbin and a lever attached to the movable arm, the lever having two members for engaging the surface of the bobbin with one of the members being a roller. The movable arm places the bobbin in a mandrel, and a second movable arm moves the thread between the roller and the surface of the bobbin. The roller is then brought into contact with the surface of the bobbin and the mandrel is rotated to thereby wind the thread onto the bobbin. The second movable arm includes a cutting blade for cutting the thread, and a hook and movable lever for moving the thread into position.
