Abstract: A feed device for a conveyor system for preforms which transports the preforms coming in an ordered manner from an upstream module of the conveyor system to a downstream module of the conveyor system in which the preforms are separated into singles, wherein the feed device has at least two oppositely arranged transport rails, on which the preforms rest in each case with a support ring. The feed device additionally includes at least two oppositely arranged belt transport units which preferably engage with a threaded portion of the preforms and transport them in a transport direction to the downstream module of the conveyor system, wherein the belt transport units each have a drive which applies a torque to the preforms accumulated in front of the downstream module, which torque the individual preforms are able to be transferred in a more reliable manner from the feed device into the downstream module.

Abstract: A system for adjusting at least the vertical setting between a first transport device and a second transport device in a transport section for preforms for plastic containers. The first transport device has at least one outlet unit for accepting preforms from the second transport unit and a rail unit for further transport of the preforms, the outlet unit firstly being connected to the rail unit and secondly being arranged such that it can be moved freely with respect to the second transport device. Furthermore, the first and the second transport devices are connected to one another via an adjusting unit, it being possible for the height of at least the outlet unit to be adjusted with respect to the second transport device by the adjusting unit.

Abstract: Objects, such as, for example, preforms for producing PET bottles, are feedable to silo as bulk material by a bulk material feeding device. A fill level sensor of the silo is connected to the control device. The control device actuates the feed drive in order to refill the silo with objects in dependence on the determined fill level of the silo. Connected downstream of the silo is an overhead conveyor and downstream of the overhead conveyor a separating-into-singles system. Both the overhead conveyor and the separating-into-singles system comprise sensors and drives, all the sensors being connected to the control device and the control device controlling all the drives.
