    摘要: A hood latch system for a motor vehicle includes a vehicle hood latch assembly configured in operable communication with a gearshift member. The vehicle hood latch assembly is prevented from unintended release of a vehicle hood striker, fixed to a hood of the motor vehicle, from a ratchet of the latch assembly when the gearshift member is shifted into a non-parked mode. When the gear shift member is selectively actuated in a park mode, the vehicle hood latch assembly is actuated to release the striker from the ratchet, thereby allowing the hood to be opened.

    摘要: A hood latch for a motor vehicle is provided. The hood latch includes a lift lever, a pawl, a ratchet, a control lever and an actuator. The control lever has a first cam surface and a second cam surface. The actuator is configured for actuation in response to a signal detected by a sensor. The actuator is actuatable in response to the signal to move into engagement with the control lever to bring the first cam surface into operable engagement with the pawl to move the pawl out of locked engagement with the ratchet, whereupon the second cam surface is brought into engagement with the lift lever to rotate the lift lever into engagement with a striker, fixed to a hood of the motor vehicle, to move the hood to a partially open state.

    摘要: A power actuator for a latch of a motor vehicle closure panel has an electric motor to rotate a lead screw about an axis. A nut is disposed about the lead screw for selective translation along the lead screw. A clutch plate is configured for selective rotation about the axis when engaged with the nut, with a biasing member biasing the nut out of engagement with the clutch plate when the electric motor is de-energized. A carrier member is coupled with the nut to cause the nut to translate into engagement with the clutch plate during rotation of the lead screw, whereupon the nut and carrier member co-rotate with the clutch plate and leadscrew. A driven member is operably coupled with the clutch plate and with the latch via a cable/rod, such that the driven member maintains the latch in a cinched state when the electric motor is energized.
