    Abstract: A filter element (10) of a filter for fluid, particularly fuel, oil, water, urea solution or air, particularly of a combustion engine, particularly of an automobile, and a method for manufacturing same are described. The filter element (10) comprises a filter medium (14) structured as a filter medium hollow body (12) and closed circumferentially at least with respect to an element axis (16). The filter medium (14) is enclosed at least partially circumferentially and at least partially axially by an electrical heating jacket (26). The filter medium (14) has, on at least one front side, an end member (32) that is connected tightly at least to the filter medium (14). After insertion of the filter medium hollow body (12) into the heating jacket (26), the front side of the filter medium hollow body (12) is provided with an end member (32).

    Abstract: A filter element is provided with a folded bellows that has a first pleated section with parallel arranged first pleats and a second pleated section with parallel arranged second pleats. The first pleats of the first pleated section are positioned at an angle relative to the second pleats of the second pleated section. The end face edges of the first pleats of the first pleated section adjoin a first clean chamber. The end face edges of the second pleats of the second pleated section adjoin a second clean chamber. The second clean chamber is delimited by a longitudinal side of an edge-side pleat of the first pleated section. The first and second clean chambers are connected to each other.     Abstract: A filter (10) with a filter element (36) are described. A housing (12) includes at least one fuel inlet, fuel outlet (18) and a water outlet (30) for water separated from the fuel. The filter element (36) within the housing separates the fuel inlet (26) from the fuel outlet (18). The filter element (36) includes a hollow body filter medium (38) flowed through radially. A water separation unit (56) with a hollow body hydrophobic fuel-permeable separating medium (66) separates water contained in the fuel and includes at least one support structure disposed in the flow path (78) in such a way that a precipitation gap (74) is realized between the filter medium (38) and the separating medium (66).
