Abstract: Methods and systems for provisioning a secure element of a digital device with financial credentials of a consumer are disclosed. In an embodiment, an external entity computer receives from one of a merchant computer or a manufacturer computer, a consumer order for a digital device that includes a secure element (SE). The external entity computer then obtains, based on the digital device information setup data of a digital device which fulfills the order, and transmits a financial account provisioning request including the setup data and the consumer account information to a token service provider (TSP) computer. The process also includes the external entity computer receiving provisioning data including a personalization script which includes financial account token credentials of the consumer from the TSP computer, and then personalizes the ordered digital device with the financial account token credentials.

Abstract: Presentation of an open-loop smart chip-based payment device is obtained at a terminal-reader assembly in a closed-loop transit environment. Verification of cryptographic credentials associated with the open-loop smart chip-based payment device is carried out at a transit payment network interface processor within the closed-loop transit environment. A financial check of an account associated with the open-loop smart chip-based payment device is performed. Responsive to determining that the verification and financial check are successful, access to the transit environment is granted to a holder of the open-loop smart chip-based payment device.

Abstract: An ultra-wideband (UWB)-enabled payment acceptance system can include a UWB anchor and a terminal device. The UWB anchor identifies UWB-enabled devices within a vicinity; and in response to receiving an indication of an intent to perform a payment transaction from a particular UWB-enabled device, the UWB anchor establishes a secure communication channel with the particular UWB-enabled device. The terminal device, via the UWB anchor, communicates transaction related information over the secure communication channel to the particular UWB-enabled device and receives a transaction payload from the particular UWB-enabled device over the secure communication channel. A UWB-enabled device includes a processor, storage, a battery, and a UWB chip. Instructions can be stored in the storage of the UWB-enabled device that when executed by the processor direct the UWB-enabled device to perform various processes supporting frictionless transactions, such as with respect to the UWB-enabled payment acceptance system.

Abstract: A method for providing scripts for execution as part of an electronic transaction includes: storing, in a memory of an integrated circuit payment card, at least one or more executable scripts, payment credentials, and a cryptogram rule; receiving, by a receiving device of the integrated circuit payment card, a transaction request from a point of sale device, wherein the transaction request includes at least one or more transaction items and a script request; generating, by a generation module of the integrated circuit payment card, at least one payment cryptogram based on at least the cryptogram rule and at least one of the one or more transaction items; and electronically transmitting, by a transmitting device of the integrated circuit payment card, at least one of the one or more executable scripts, the payment credentials, and the generated at least one payment cryptogram to the point of sale device.
