Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods are provided for incentivizing consumers to adjust utility usage at their premises. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a computing device, from a utility provider, a challenge defining a reduction in a utility usage by a consumer, in exchange for an incentive, and causing, by the computing device, the challenge to be delivered to the consumer. Then, when the challenge is completed, the method includes causing the incentive to be awarded to the consumer, whereby the utility provider is able to affect utility usage by the consumer through the incentive-based challenge.

Abstract: A host system pushing hosted Universal Resource Locators (URLs) to mobile computing devices is provided. The host system includes at least one host computing device configured to receive first merchant data and first Internet of Technology (IOT) data associated with a merchant computing device, enroll the merchant computing device using the first merchant data and the first IOT data, and build an IOT device profile. The host computing device is also configured to generate a hosted URL associated with the merchant computing device and push the hosted URL, using a URL signal, to a user computing device via an IOT device. The host computing device is further configured to instruct the user computing device to convert the URL signal into a URL address and instruct the user computing device to load the URL address in a browser of the user computing device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in facilitating payment account transactions, through consumer communication devices, at merchant locations. One exemplary method includes capturing a merchant indicator for a merchant in connection with a payment account transaction at the merchant for at least one product and receiving a checkout token for the payment account transaction from a person-to-merchant (P2M) engine. The checkout token is based, at least in part, on the captured merchant indicator. The method further includes transmitting a request for the payment account transaction at the merchant, where the request includes the checkout token, and whereby the consumer is permitted to purchase one or more products from the merchant, using the consumer's communication device and without interacting with a point-of-sale (POS) terminal.
