摘要: A signal recording and reproducing apparatus comprises a magnetic disc recorder and a magnetic tape recorder. Signals reproduced from a magnetic disc are recorded on a magnetic tape during low speed rotation of the magnetic disc and movement of the magnetic tape which is moved synchronously with the low speed rotation of the magnetic disc, whereby the influence of the irregularity of the rotation of the magnetic disc and the movement of the magnetic tape on the signals is eliminated. The apparatus can also be used as a signal transmission system by including a transmitting device and a receiving device. The transmitting device reproduces signals recorded on the magnetic disc and transmits the reproduced signals to the receiving device through a transmission line during the low speed rotation of the magnetic disc. The receiving device records the transmitted signals on a magnetic disc during the low speed rotation. The reproduced signals are transmitted as soon as the low speed rotation is started and the transmitted signals are recorded by detection of the beginning and the end of the transmitted signals.

摘要: An FM demodulation system has a limiter, a frequency doubler, a sawtooth-wave generator, a low-pass filter, an amplitude selector and a noise suppressing circuit. The output voltage of the sawtooth-wave generator is proportional to the frequency deviation of the FM signal and becomes large when a noise occurs. During the occurrence of noise, the amplitude selector which is coupled to the output of the sawtooth-wave generator generates a signal for controlling the characteristics of the signal path in the noise suppressing circuit, so that a noise component does not appear at the signal output terminal.

摘要: An FM demodulation system having means for noise reduction. The system has a signal path which includes a limiter, an FM demodulation circuit and a gate circuit, and a control circuit which includes a differentiator, two mono-stable-multivibrators, an adder and a gate signal generator. The input of this control circuit is coupled to the output of the limiter and the output of the control circuit is coupled to the control terminal of the gate circuit so as to apply a gate signal to the gate circuit. The gate circuit in the signal path operates in such a way that a demodulated signal is passed to the output terminal of the system when the gate signal is not present and the demodulated signal is prevented from passing to the output terminal when the gate signal is present. The control circuit generates the gate signal when a dropout in the FM signal occurs in the following manner. The signal from the limiter is differentiated by the differentiator and is formed into a narrow pulse train having positive and negative polarities. The positive spikes and the negative spikes of this pulse train trigger the respective ones of two mono-stable-multivibrators, and the outputs from these multivibrators are added by the adder. The output pulse-width of these multivibrator is controlled so that a marker signal appears at the output of the adder when carrier dropout in the FM signal occurs. The gate signal generator generates the gate signal from the marker signal and the resulting gate signal is fed to the control terminal of the gate circuit. a result, a noise component does not appear at the output terminal.
