Abstract: A vehicle-body structure for suppressing deformation of a lift gate opening is provided. Embodiments include a vehicle having a rear annular framework formed from a cross member, side braces, connecting members, and a rear header; a rear suspension on lower surfaces of side pillars in the same position as the cross member in a vehicle front-rear direction; and wheel well inner portions on the vehicle rear side with respect to the cross member, each having an upper end having a damper supporting portion for mounting a suspension damper. The side braces each connect a place near the cross member and a place near the damper supporting portion to each other in a vehicle up-down direction; and the connecting members each connect a place near each end portion of the rear header in a vehicle width direction and the place near the damper supporting portion to each other.

Abstract: The support stiffness of a suspension supporting portion can be improved to reduce floor vibration. Arm front-end supporting portions, each supporting a front end portion of a trailing of a rear suspension, are formed on lower portions of rear frames extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and each include a squared U-shape portion including outer, inner and front wall portions, with a rear side being open when viewed from the bottom, and an extending outer wall portion extending from the outer wall portion to in front of the front wall portion. The outer wall portion and extending outer wall portion are formed by a side sill inner portion joined to each rear side frame. Also, each arm front-end supporting portion includes an extending inner wall portion extending from the inner wall portion to in front of the front wall portion and joined to each of the rear side frames.

Abstract: A rear vehicle-body structure for suppressing deformation of a corner portion of a lift gate opening is provided, including a pair of left and right inner wheel wells having damper supports; and a framework member on a rear side of the inner wheel wells forming an opening edge of a back door opening. The framework member includes a header extending in a vehicle width direction forming an upper end edge of the back door opening; and pillars extending from the header to a vehicle lower side via corner portions of the back door opening. A pair of gussets connect rear portions of the inner wheel wells and the pillars to each other; a pair of connecting members connect the rear portions of the inner wheel wells and places near the corner portions to each other; and the gussets and the connecting members are joined at places near the damper supports.

Abstract: A front deflector configured to be provided on a surface ahead of a front wheel of a vehicle. The front deflector includes a first opening forward of the vehicle, the first opening configured to receive air into an inner space of the front deflector when the vehicle travels forward; a guide wall that directs the air received into the inner space from the first opening to at least a vehicle-width-direction outer side in the inner space; and a second opening that opens rearward of the first opening in a position that overlaps with a front wheel of the vehicle, and exhausts the air in the inner space to the vehicle-width-direction outer side.

Abstract: An exhaust device for an engine includes an engine main body having a cylinder head provided with a manifold exhaust passage formed with a gathering exhaust port, a turbo supercharger, a catalyst device provided adjacent to the turbo supercharger, and a processing device disposed on the same side as the cylinder head surface of the engine main body. The processing device includes an exhaust gas processing device and an EGR device. The turbo supercharger guides exhaust gas discharged from the gathering exhaust port upward. The catalyst device includes a carrier, and a container which allows the exhaust gas to pass through a lower region of the carrier. The EGR device and the exhaust gas processing device are at least disposed below the catalyst device.
