摘要: An intake and exhaust system of an engine mounted on a vehicle is provided, which includes an intake passage and an exhaust passage, and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) passage configured to introduce a portion of exhaust gas to the intake passage as EGR gas. The exhaust passage includes an exhaust gas purifier including an inlet part and an outlet part for the exhaust gas, that is disposed so that the exhaust gas flows horizontally, a branch connected to the outlet part and configured to branch in vehicle up-and-down directions a channel of the exhaust gas after being purified by the exhaust gas purifier, and a guide connected to the branch and configured to guide the exhaust gas below the outlet part. The EGR passage is connected to the branch and guides the EGR gas upward.

摘要: A control apparatus for an engine includes a rotation detector, a fuel injection device, and an output controller. The output controller calculates an emission amount of the pollutant and calculates an accumulated emission amount of a pollutant for a period of time. The output controller calculates a maximum allowable emission amount of the pollutant for a period of time. The output controller calculates a difference between the accumulated emission amount of pollutant and the maximum allowable emission amount of the pollutant. The output controller calculates a first output index by dividing the difference by the period of time. The output controller sets the allowable range for the output of the engine so that the emission amount of pollutant becomes equal to or less than the first output index.

The method includes interpreting a parameter affecting an operation of the spark ignition engine, and determining a knock index value in response to the parameter. The method further includes reducing a likelihood of engine knock in response to the knock index value exceeding a knock threshold value.

摘要: An exhaust gas recirculation arrangement is provided for a power system, the power system including an internal combustion engine, an exhaust gas system and an intake system including an inlet air compressor, the exhaust gas recirculation arrangement including a first exhaust gas recirculation path and a second exhaust gas recirculation path for recirculating exhaust gas from the exhaust gas system to the intake system. The first and second exhaust gas recirculation paths are adapted to recirculate exhaust gas to the same side of the inlet air compressor, in an intended direction of flow of inlet air in the power system, wherein the exhaust gas recirculation arrangement includes a flow controller, preferably the flow controller includes a valve connected to the second exhaust gas recirculation path, for controlling the flow volume through at least one of the first and second exhaust gas recirculation paths.

摘要: A method for reducing an exhaust gas of a mild hybrid system may include determining by an electronic control unit (ECU) whether an engine enters a full load region or a partial load region, based on a position of an accelerator pedal, controlling, by the ECU, the operation of an electric supercharger, based on information on an engine rotational frequency, when a vehicle is driven while being accelerated in a state in which the engine enters the full load region, and controlling, by the ECU, the operation of the electric supercharger by determining whether the vehicle is accelerated, based on an incremental slope of the position of the accelerator pedal, when the engine enters the partial load region.

摘要: A method of and an apparatus for controlling an engine system having a continuous variable valve duration (CVVD) apparatus and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) apparatus may include: determining whether an EGR valve of the EGR apparatus is opened; determining an amount of an external EGR gas according to opening of the EGR valve and an amount of an internal EGR gas according to operation of the CVVD apparatus when the EGR valve is opened; comparing a value obtained by summing the amount of the external EGR gas and the amount of the internal EGR gas with an EGR limit value; and decreasing a duration of an intake valve when the value obtained by summing the amount of the external EGR gas and the amount of the internal EGR gas is greater than the EGR limit value.

The actuator device includes an electric motor and a gear drive that transmits the motion from the electric motor to the component. The electromechanical actuator is made of a first metal material and comprises a conditioning circuit comprising a pipe for the passage of a conditioning fluid, which is made of a second thermally conductive material. A method of manufacturing the electromagnetic actuator is also disclosed.

摘要: An intake and exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes an exhaust gas recirculation passage (35) communicates a part of an exhaust passage (7) downstream of a turbine with a part of an intake passage (6) upstream of a compressor and a cooling circuit (51), the cooling circuit including a first evaporator (52) provided in a part of the exhaust passage downstream of the turbine and upstream of a junction with the exhaust gas recirculation passage and storing a medium, an ejector pump (54) using vapor from the first evaporator as a driving flow, a condenser (57) for cooling and condensing the vapor ejected from the ejector pump and returning the condensed medium to the first evaporator, and a second evaporator (55) provided in the exhaust gas recirculation passage to cool the exhaust gas passing through the exhaust gas recirculation passage by evaporating a medium stored therein with a negative pressure created by the ejector pump.
