    Abstract: A UE determines a first DCCH resource candidate in a first CORESET on a carrier, the first DCCH resource candidate including a first set of RBs. The UE also determines a first sequence of DMRSs that are mapped, starting at a reference point, to RBs in a predetermined range within the carrier in a frequency domain, the predetermined range containing the first DCCH resource candidate in the frequency domain. The UE further determines a first reference location of the first set of RBs. The UE determines, based on the first reference location, a first set of DMRSs from the first sequence of DMRSs, the first set of DMRSs being mapped to the first set of RBs. The UE obtains a channel estimation based on the first set of DMRSs; and The UE performs blind decoding of the first DCCH resource candidate based on the channel estimation.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication of a UE is provided. The UE receives a semi-static assignment from a network, indicating each of a plurality of symbol periods in a slot being assigned as one of: a downlink symbol period, a semi-static unknown symbol period, and an uplink symbol period. The UE receives a dynamic slot format indicator (SFI), the dynamic SFI indicating M of the plurality of symbol periods being reassigned dynamically from semi-static unknown symbol periods to symbol periods not being monitored by the UE for PDCCH data. The UE determines that a CORESET of Y symbol periods contains N of the M reassigned symbol periods. The UE (1) refrains from decoding data carried in the Y symbol periods of the CORESET or (2) decodes data carried in (Y-N) symbol periods of the CORESET with exclusion of data carried in the N reassigned symbol periods of the CORESET.

    Abstract: An UE receives a downlink control channel. The UE also receives an aggregation indication indicating that a downlink control channel contains downlink control information (DCI) for one or more resource locations of the UE. The UE further determines that a payload size selected from a list of payload sizes is a size of a payload of the downlink control channel. The UE further determines an entry size of each entry of a number of DCI entries that are included in the payload and are corresponding to the one or more resource locations based on downlink transmission parameters at the one or more resource locations.     Abstract: A method of UE power profile adaptation to traffic and UE power consumption characteristics based on power profile is proposed. In one preferred embodiment, hybrid of bandwidth part (BWP) and power profile is proposed. UE is configured with multiple BWPs and each BWP includes a set of power profiles. Two types of adaptation triggering can be used, a first type of trigger is based on power saving signals sent from the network, and the second type of trigger is based on timers. When the traffic characteristic for UE changes, the network can send a power saving signal to UE to trigger power profile adaptation, e.g., BWP+power profile switching. When traffic has been digested and becomes sporadic, then power profile adaptation can be triggered based on timers, e.g., a timer for BWP adaptation and another timer for power profile adaptation.
