    摘要: A computerized system for initiating preparation of a customized cosmeceutical formulation, comprising a processor configured to execute program instructions to instantiate a cosmeceutical utility configured for (i) obtaining a skin type, a first skin concern and a prioritized set of second skin concerns from a user; (ii) selecting a base composition from a set of base compositions based on the skin type and the first skin concern; (iii) selecting a subset of booster compositions by determining a prioritized original set of booster compositions based on the prioritized set of second skin concerns; and verifying mutual compatibility of a subset of booster compositions in the original set. If the verifying indicates incompatibility among two or more booster compositions in the subset, the utility is configured to substitute a lower-priority booster composition in the two or more booster compositions with a booster composition that is in the original set but not in the subset; and (iv) causing an electronic message comprising a request to be released towards a recipient, the request identifying the selected base composition and the selected subset of booster compositions.

    摘要: A multi-dose, metered dispenser and applicator for topical medications includes inner and outer cylinders and a plurality of expanding bases. These bases form part of a telescopic piston drive system that advances the main piston through the inner cylinder, in accordance with a selected dosage, to dispense a metered amount of the topical medication. The dosage may be selected by a switch located on an outside of the outer cylinder, and dispensed by rotating the inner cylinder relative to the outer cylinder. A tactile and audible feedback mechanism informs the user that the desired dosage of medication has been dispensed.

    摘要: An assembly for insertion into a holder of a mixer, comprising: a dispenser having an exterior surface of which at least a band is symmetric about a longitudinal axis of the dispenser; and an adapter for surrounding at least the band of the exterior surface of the dispenser. The adapter comprises a closeable shell, the shell being configured to lock the dispenser in at least a region of the band so as to impede rotational slippage of the dispenser relative to the adapter about the longitudinal axis with the shell being closed. If the assembly is then locked to/engaged with the holder of a planetary mixer, this causes the assembly to undergo superimposed revolution and rotation movements in tandem with those of the holder, resulting in a desired level of mixing being imparted to the dispenser's contents, which may improve homogeneity and predictability of the mixing results.
