摘要: A method for mixing a fluid includes: dispensing a first volume of a fluid into a flexible container, the flexible container being at least partially disposed within the chamber of a support housing; repeatedly moving the support housing and the flexible container contained therein so as to mix the first volume of fluid within the flexible container; adding further fluid into the flexible container after moving the support housing to form a second volume of fluid; and manipulating a mixing element within the flexible container so as to mix the second volume of fluid.

摘要: An apparatus for mixing viscous fluids in a container through applied rotational and oscillation motions is provided. The apparatus has a sample carrier platform mounted to a shaft along a longitudinal axis with a first mechanism imparting oscillating motion to the shaft and a second mechanism imparting rotational motion to the shaft and carrier platform along the axis simultaneously or sequentially. Couplings to the shaft allow the shaft to freely rotate at the same time as it can be pushed or pulled along the longitudinal axis. Sequence, duration and frequency of oscillations and rotations are controlled with a programmable controller.

摘要: A dispensing container and adapter system for use with a planetary mixer is disclosed. The dispensing container has a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis. The dispensing container may include a nozzle and a removable cap to cover the nozzle. The removable cap may have a first width dimension measured along the transverse axis. The dispensing container may include a body having a second width dimension measured along the transverse axis. An adapter may receive the dispensing container. The adapter may include a cavity to receive the removable cap. The cavity may have a cavity width that exceeds the first width dimension. The adapter may also include a recess for receiving a portion of the dispensing container. The recess may extend from the cavity. At least a portion of the recess may have a width dimension smaller than both the first width dimension and the second width dimension.

摘要: A kneading machine includes a removable bowl trolley and a tongs locking device to fix the bowl trolley to the kneading machine. The tongs locking device includes tongs with two arms, which in a closed position fixes the bowl trolley in a predefined position and in an open position releases the bowl trolley for removal. The tongs locking device includes a linear drive with an adjustment direction and a lever system adjustable by the linear drive. The two arms of the tongs are rotatably mounted on a lever system and are adjustable by the linear drive between a closed and an open position of the tongs locking device.

摘要: Micro puree machines have a locking assembly for locking a container to a coupling on the machine, preventing the container from rotating out of the coupling during processing. The locking assembly includes at least one protrusion on the container configured to slidably engage a slot on an interior surface of the coupling when the container is rotated in a clockwise direction. The coupling has a clip that is moveable from a first position, in which the clip prevents rotation of the container in the counterclockwise direction, to a second position, in which the clip allows rotation of the container in the counterclockwise direction. The clip is spring biased toward the second position. Pressing a button on the coupling moves the clip from the first to the second position.
