Abstract: A computer apparatus, such as a validator node, for validating data records in a distributed electronic ledger may be configured to receive a proposed data record submitted by an originating agent of an originating agency to a distributed ledger. In response to the proposed incident-related data record, other agents within the originating agency may, based on validation criteria, submit one or more responsive data records that may provide information for use in determining a validity of the proposed incident-related data record. Validator nodes hosted by external agencies may submit validation responses relative to a validity of the proposed incident-related data record. The system may determine that the proposed data record is valid. Based a consensus algorithm, the system may responsively append the proposed data record or an indication of validity to the distributed ledger or to a different distributed ledger.

At least one feature of the IoT device is prevented from functioning the IoT device is registered with an incident IoT ledger system. Upon registering incident-relevant attributes associated with the IoT device and the location of the IoT device with an incident IoT ledger system, full functioning of the IoT device is enabled after successful registration with the incident IoT ledger system.

Abstract: A computer apparatus, such as a validator node, for validating incident-related data records in a distributed electronic ledger is configured to receive a request from an agent to add a proposed incident-related data record associated with an incident to the distributed electronic ledger. In response to the proposed incident-related data record, the computer apparatus determines, from the distributed electronic ledger, one or more attributes of the agent or incident. The computer apparatus determines whether the proposed incident-related data record satisfies validation criteria based at least partially on the one or more attributes of the agent or incident. Once validated, the computer apparatus may then append the proposed incident-related data record to the distributed electronic ledger. Alternatively, the proposed incident-related data record may be appended regardless of validity, but an indication of validity may be appended if the proposed incident-related data record is validated.

Abstract: A method and system provide for project a safe area during an emergency situation is provided. A server, using at least one electronic sensor, determines that an emergency situation is occurring in a building. The emergency situation can be an armed intruder, a natural disaster, a chemical spill or the like, etc. The server determines likely unsafe areas and at least one likely safe area within the building during the emergency situation. A projector, which can be incorporated into a camera or separate from a camera, projects visual guidance features within the building, the visual guidance features directing occupants in the building toward the likely safe area.

A user interface including a graphical underlay on which user input gestures may be operated is displayed via a display element. Abstract: A method and apparatus for a method for alerting a next passenger to board a vehicle from a transportation hub is provided herein. During operation, a current seat score for each seat within the vehicle is determined. A plurality of gate scores for passengers waiting to board the vehicle is then determined. Finally, a next passenger to board is determined based on the current seat score for each seat within the vehicle and the plurality of gate scores of passengers. Once the next passenger to board is determined, a name of the next passengers will be announced and/or displayed on a monitor.

Abstract: An input audio signal is monitored at an electronic digital assistant of an electronic computing device. The assistant determines that the audio signal includes audio from multiple speaking parties, identifies first and second parties of the multiple parties and roles of the parties, accesses a database of multi-party interaction templates and selects, as a function of the roles of the parties, a particular multi-party interaction template that matches the roles, and then generates, based on a detected content of the audio signal and the particular multi-party interaction template, a database query to retrieve information responsive to or supplemental to content of the audio signal. The assistant then causes the query to be performed results of the query provided to the first party, the second party, a dispatcher or administrator associated with the parties, or a computer-aided-dispatch system associated with the parties.

Abstract: A process at an electronic digital assistant (EDA) computing device uses natural language detection of a user status change to make corresponding modification of a user interface associated with the user. The EDA monitors a private or talkgroup voice call associated with a user and detects first user speech from the user. The EDA identifies a current status of the user of on-assignment or not-on-assignment and determines that the first user speech is indicative of a first or second user status change. When it is the first user status change, the EDA causes a mobile or portable computing device associated with the user to automatically swap a foreground not-on-assignment related application with a not-previously-in-foreground on-assignment related application, and vice versa when it is the second user status change.
