    摘要: An antidissipation apparatus for evaporated fuel vapor for an internal combustion engine. A purge passage connects the intake manifold and the fuel tank. A canister is installed in the purge passage and adsorbs evaporated fuel vapor generated in the fuel tank. A purge pump is installed in the purge passage and delivers the adsorbed evaporated fuel vapor to the intake manifold. Since the purge pump is driven by at least a part of a fuel flow in the fuel passage, the purge pump can change its discharge amount of the adsorbed evaporated fuel vapor to the intake manifold according to an amount of the fuel flow in the fuel passage. Therefore, the evaporated fuel vapor which is adsorbed at the canister can be supplied (purged) to the intake manifold by the purge pump forcibly even if the engine is a lean-burn type which can not employ large negative pressure of the intake manifold.

    摘要: A fuel supply system for an engine having no fuel return pipe is disclosed. In steps target fuel is set according to an engine operating state. Thereafter, a target current value to be supplied to the motor of a fuel pump according to the target fuel pressure is obtained. In the succeeding step, an actual motor current is detected and, then, the target current value and the detcted current are compared. Thereafter, the supply current is controlled by feedback based upon the difference obtained by comparison between the target current value and the detected current value to eliminate the difference.

    摘要: A negative-electrode active material layer having an uneven pattern is formed on a surface of a copper foil as a negative-electrode current collector by applying an application liquid by a nozzle-scan coating method. Subsequently, an application liquid containing a polymer electrolyte material is applied by a spin coating method, thereby forming a solid electrolyte layer in conformity with the uneven pattern. Subsequently, an application liquid is applied by a doctor blade method, thereby forming a positive-electrode active material layer whose lower surface conforms to the unevenness and whose upper surface is substantially flat. A thin and high-performance all-solid-state battery can be produced by laminating an aluminum foil as a positive-electrode current collector before the application liquid is cured.

A method of fabricating a solid-state imaging device includes the steps of forming a planarizing film composed of a first inorganic film, forming a second inorganic film on the planarizing film, forming a lens-shaped resist layer on the second inorganic film, and etching back the resist layer to form an on-chip lens composed of the second inorganic film. The first inorganic film constituting the planarizing film and the second inorganic film constituting the on-chip lens preferably transmit ultraviolet light.

    摘要: An electronic throttle valve control system prevents rapid rotation of a throttle valve reliably when the control system has a failure. A throttle valve controls the amount of intake air to an internal combustion engine, an electric motor drives the throttle valve, and a rotational speed reduction mechanism reduces the rotation of the electric motor to control the rotation of the throttle valve. An urging mechanism urges the throttle valve in the closing direction. An attenuation mechanism attenuates the speed at which the throttle valve is rotated in the closing direction by the urging mechanism when the control system has a failure. The attenuation mechanism is the electric motor in a regenerative mode or an air damper.
