    摘要: A method of increasing thermal conduction in an electronic display assembly includes securing a panel forming part of a thermal management substructure for the electronic display assembly, depositing a structural adhesive to at least one of an electronic component for operating the electronic display assembly and the panel, securing said electronic component directly to a first side of the panel by way of the adhesive, and securing the thermal management substructure within a housing of the electronic display assembly such that a second side of said panel defines, at least in part, at least a portion of an airflow pathway of the electronic display assembly of which the thermal management substructure forms a part.

    摘要: A transparent electronic display layer is placed between a front and rear transparent layer. A light guide is positioned behind the transparent electronic display layer and has an outer edge. Lighting elements are positioned adjacent to the outer edge. A cavity is positioned adjacent to and on an opposing side of the lighting elements as compared to the light guide such that light exiting the lighting elements enters both the light guide and the cavity. A graphic may be provided at the cavity.

A pair of thermal plates are located behind the electronic displays and a pair of transparent plates are located in front of the electronic displays. A closed loop of air travels vertically through the space between the electronic displays and transparent panels and through a closed loop plenum. An open loop of air travels horizontally through the space between thermal plates and the rear surface of the electronic displays.

    摘要: The exemplary embodiments herein comprise a back to back electronic display assembly having a first display assembly positioned back to back with a second display assembly. A plenum is preferably positioned in between the first and second display assemblies with a first gap defined between the plenum and the first display assembly and a second gap defined between the plenum and the second display assembly. A fan is preferably positioned to force air through the first and second gaps. A plenum fan may be used to circulate air around the plenum. Preferably, the second display assembly can move relative to the first display assembly to provide access to the interior of the plenum.
