摘要： An improved umbrella frame comprising a four-rib canopy frame comprising only five parts plus a simplified four-panel canopy that greatly reduces manufacturing costs. The frame comprises four arms that snap together with a tool-less tongue and groove connection around a central shaft, allowing the four-panel canopy to be stretched over top. The tongue and groove assembly forms an improved runner that gently slides up and down the central shaft to provide open and close functions. The improved umbrella frame is lightweight and may-be quickly and easily assembled and disassembled for packing or storage.

For example, the bite block may include a thumb receiving portion and a bite receiving portion. The thumb receiving portion defines a hole that is configured for receiving a thumb of a user. The bite receiving portion includes an upper surface and a lower surface. The upper surface defines an upper trough configured for receiving one or more maxillary teeth of an animal, and the lower surface defines a lower trough configured for receiving one or more mandibular teeth of the animal.

A plurality of roof panels (58, 60, 62) extends between the roof side frame members (30) and slidably engages the split rail assembly (33) for selective movement into a stacked configuration above the movable rail (40). A linkage assembly (254) is operably connected to the movable rail (40) for pivoting and articulating the movable rail (40) relative to the fixed rail (34) when the plurality of roof panels (58, 60, 62) is in the stacked configuration in order to stow the plurality of roof panels (58, 60, 62) behind the rear seat (24) of the motor vehicle (10) such that the entire roof opening (31) is exposed.

摘要： A vertical wind turbine includes a blade which has opposite force producing sides that lie on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis along its direction of travel. The aerodynamic surfaces are driven by the wind through four phases of rotation. Driving torque is produced during three of the four phases. The blade includes a v-shaped nosepiece with rearward facing surfaces on each side that cup the wind during three of the four phases. The split tail of the blade captures the wind during a down wind phase of rotation.

A cutter blade is mounted between the enlarged end portions and is positioned a spaced distance inwardly from an outer edge of each end portion. The upper and outer walls of the dispenser include a plurality of ridges to aid in the gripping of the dispenser. The ridges are shaped and positioned to represent the shells of either a turtle or a snail.

In another embodiment, a directional night light has a bezel mounted front face with a louvered element behind the front face through which light will pass and be directed at an angle away from the front face.

A control mechanism is operatively coupled to the rotation assembly and has a control assembly to control rotation of the rotation assembly and a user interface coupled to the control assembly to allow a user to select a mode of operation for the device. The spring mechanism is recharged in standby mode. Various mechanisms can be used in various embodiments to improve functionality such as a gearing mechanism.

摘要： An easy opening end closure for a container has a central panel with a tear panel defined by a score line. A pull tab is attached by a rivet to the central panel and has a nose end for engaging the tear panel and an opposite lift end for pivoting the tab about the rivet to fracture the score line. One or a pair of crescent-shaped protrusions are formed on the central panel closely adjacent to and rearwardly of the rivet to reduce the lift force required to initially lift the lift end of the tab to start the fracturing of the score line. The protrusions are concentric to each other and partially circumscribe the rivet and are located beneath the pull tab or within openings of the pull tab to avoid interference with can making equipment and with the pull tab.
