    摘要: Ceric oxide particulates having a specific surface of at least 190 m.sup.2 /g, measured after calcination at a temperature of from 350.degree. to 450.degree. C., and a specific surface of at least 15 m.sup.2 /g after calcination at 800.degree. C., are prepared by (a) suspending, in an aqueous solution of a decomposable base, a ceric hydroxide of the formula (I):Ce(M).sub.x (OH).sub.y (NO.sub.3).sub.z (I)wherein M is an alkali metal or a quaternary ammonium radical; x is a number ranging from 0.01 to 0.2; y is such that y=4-z+x; and z is a number ranging from 0.4 to 0.7; (b) heating the resulting suspension in a confined reaction zone to a temperature and pressure respectively lower than its critical temperature and pressure; (c) cooling such reaction medium and permitting it to return to atmospheric pressure; (d) separating the ceric hydroxide thus treated; and (e) calcining the separated ceric hydroxide.

    摘要: Novel rare earth oxides having a large specific surface of at least 40 m.sup.2 /g, well adapted for catalysis, are prepared (i) by reacting at least one rare earth salt with a strong base in the presence of carboxylate ions, or by reacting at least one rare earth carboxylate with a strong base, to produce a true rare earth hydroxide, (ii) separating the precipitate thus produced, and then (iii) washing and (iv) calcining such precipitate.

    摘要: Detergent formulation for washing laundry characterized in that it comprises: from about 10 to 80% of its weight of at least one hydrated zeolite (z) of formula xNa.sub.2 O.yAl.sub.2 O.sub.3.zSiO.sub.2.wH.sub.2 O in which, if y=1, x is from about 0.7 to 1.1, z is from about 1.3 to 3.3 and w is from about 10 to 264 from about 0.005 to 5%, of its weight of a least one polyalkylene terephthalate-polyoxyalkylenebisurethane (PET-UPOEU) copolymeric nonionic or anionic anti-soiling agent, said copolymer being obtained by reaction of a polyalkylene terephthalate (PET) and a polyoxyalkylnebisurethane (UPOEU), the molar ratio of the NCO functions to all of the OH functions or OH function equivalents being from about 0.5 to 1, from about 3 to 40%, of its weight of a least one saturated C.sub.5 -C.sub.24, aliphatic or hydroxyaliphatic alkyl sulphate anionic surfactant (FAS) optionally condensed with approximately 0.5 to 30 mol of ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide, optionally, up to 15% of its weight of a nonionic surfactant, it not being possible for more than 5% by weight of the said detergent formulation to consist of an alkylbenzenesulphonate. It has been observed that this PET-UPOEU type of anti-soiling agent, present in low amount in detergent compositions based on zeolite and aliphatic alkyl sulphate, has advantageous anti-soiling properties.

    摘要: A soil-repellent treatment method for articles based on woven cotton, wherein an amphiphilic soil-repellent agent soluble or dispersible in the treatment medium is deposited on the article during one or more washing, rinsing and/or softening or dying steps, is disclosed.
