摘要: Portland cement clinker LCMs that include Portland cement clinker to mitigate or prevent lost circulation in a well are provided. A Portland cement clinker LCM may include Portland cement clinker, Portland cement, a carrier fluid, and an inorganic consolidation activator. Another Portland cement clinker LCM may include Portland cement clinker and a crosslinked fluid, such as a polyuronide crosslinked via calcium ions or a polysaccharide crosslinked via divinyl sulfone. Yet another Portland cement clinker LCM may include Portland cement clinker and polymer fibers or particulate glass. Methods of lost circulation control using a Portland cement clinker LCM are also provided.

摘要: Light-weight, fire-resistant “mineral foam” includes an inorganic cementitious matrix and at least one metal hydrate that is a “super hydrate” substance, in which water is present with the substance in an amount of at least about ten moieties of water of hydration per formula unit of the substance. As a cured solid, that “mineral foam,” or another mineral foam composition including an inorganic cementitious matrix, can be provided as a structural member in part of an assembly that has at least one open web, thermally insulating support member at least partially embedded in the cured solid. Also, the cured “mineral foam” may be a solid foam in a form of a panel, panel block or tile, which may have a tongue provision and/or a groove provision.

摘要: A water-based drilling mud for use in cementing operations includes water, LASSENITE® pozzolan-based additive, a heavy-weight additive, a viscosifier, a dispersant and at least one of a set activator, a fluid loss control additive and a shale stabilizer. A method of using the same includes allowing a cement composition to mix with the water-based drilling mud and allowing the mixture of the cement composition and the water-based drilling mud to set.

摘要: A method for placement of roller compacted concrete (RCC) on a sub-base to produce a concrete pavement, which has: (a) dosing a concrete or concrete ingredients and loading the concrete or concrete ingredients into a concrete transportation truck, (b) adding at least one pelletizing agent to the concrete and waiting from 3 to 15 minutes under constant mixing to produce a pelletized concrete and (c) discharging the pelletized concrete obtained in step (b) on the sub-base from the concrete transportation truck, rotating the drum of the concrete transportation truck.
