    摘要: A vapor-recovery-activated auto-shutoff nozzle comprises a manually operable trigger that permits selective operation of a normally closed valve between a valve-closed configuration and a valve-open configuration. Linkage arms connect the trigger and the valve, and are re-configurable between an enabled configuration and a disabled configuration. In the enabled configuration, the trigger and the valve are operatively connected such that the rest position of the trigger corresponds to the valve being closed, and the in-use position of the manually operable trigger corresponds to the valve being open. In the disabled configuration, the manually operable trigger is precluded from controlling the valve. A deactivation mechanism is for re-configuring the linkage means from the enabled configuration to the disabled configuration, in response to a condition of the fluid in a vapor recovery conduit of the nozzle, thereby precluding the valve from being controlled until the linkage arms are reset to the enabled configuration.

    摘要: A liquid delivery system for supplying liquid from a portable container to a destination and removing vapour from the destination comprises a portable container, an elongate flexible liquid delivery hose, and an elongate flexible vapour recovery hose. The liquid delivery hose receives liquid from the portable container, and delivers the received liquid to a remote destination. The vapour recovery hose receives vapour from the remote destination, and delivers the received vapour to the substantially hollow interior of the portable container. The liquid delivery hose and the vapour recovery hose permit the movement of the liquid outlet of the liquid delivery hose to more than one selected remote destination while the container remains substantially stationary. Reduced air pressure in the portable container resulting from the removal of the liquid therefrom, causes vapour to be suctioned via the vapour recovery hose into the portable container.

The container apparatus has a container housing and a foot pump means for pumping liquid connected to the container housing. The container housing has a storage chamber for storing liquid and an opening through which liquid is added into the storage chamber. The container housing has an exit opening in fluid communication with the pump chamber entrance opening to permit liquid in the storage chamber to be drawn and pumped into the pump chamber through the pump chamber entrance opening and out of the pump chamber through the pump chamber exit opening by operation of the foot pump means. There is a valve means comprising a one-way check valve mounted between the storage chamber and the pump chamber to permit operation of the foot pump means when the storage chamber is under atmospheric pressure, there being an air means to permit the drawing of air into the storage chamber as liquid is being pumped out of the storage chamber by use of the foot pump means.

A resilient arm has a curved flexible portion and is operatively connected to the main body to be movable between a rest configuration and an extended configuration whereat the curved portion is less curved than in the extended configuration. A remover is operatively connected to the resilient arm in substance disengaging relation with respect to the receptacle. A trigger operatively mounted on the main body for movement between a rest position corresponding to the rest configuration of the resilient arm and an actuating position corresponding to the extended configuration of the resilient arm. In use, movement of the trigger from the rest position to the actuating position causes extension of the resilient arm from the rest configuration to the extended configuration to thereby moving the remover in substance disengaging relation with respect to the receptacle.
