摘要: A protection arrangement for a battery charger of the type used to charge battery packs used for electromotive tools. A self-holding protector is arranged in the neighborhood of an inserting hole of the battery charger for receiving a storage battery pack 50 to be charged. This self-holding protector element includes two elements electrically connected in parallel. One of these two elements is a bimetal which opens when it heats or flows too much current. The other of the two elements is a positive characteristic thermistor (PCT) which generates heat when a current flows through it. When a battery pack being charged becomes over-charged and heats, the bimetal element of the protector opens, and charging current stops flowing. When the bimetal element opens, electric current flows through the PCT. This current causes the PCT to heat and maintain the bimetal element in its open condition. When the battery pack being charged short-circuits, and a large current flows through it, the bimetal element opens and charging current is interrupted in the same way.

摘要: An apparatus for controlling the amount of secondary air fed into an internal combustion engine which includes means for controlling the response speed of a secondary air flow control means in accordance with an electrical signal. This signal is generated by integrating the value of an intake air amount signal, which is generated by multiplying the rotational speed of the engine and the load of the engine, in an interval direction determined by an equivalent air-fuel ratio condition of the engine. Thus, the equivalent air-fuel ratio can be controlled with a response speed corresponding to the amount of the flow of the exhaust gas. Furthermore, excessive control of the equivalent air-fuel ratio can be prevented.

摘要: A communication device includes a processor and a memory. The memory stores computer-readable instructions therein. The computer-readable instructions instruct the processor to acquire media data comprising one or more of image data and audio data from an acquiring device. The computer-readable instructions instruct the processor to encode the acquired media data to generate particular encoded data. The computer-readable instructions instruct the processor to determine whether a data size of the particular encoded data is equal to or greater than a threshold data size. The computer-readable instructions instruct the processor to encode the particular encoded data using redundancy processing to generate redundantly-encoded data when determining that the data size of the particular encoded data is equal to or greater than the threshold data size. The computer-readable instructions instruct the processor to transmit the redundantly-encoded data as one or more packets to another communication device.
