    摘要: An input device having a manipulation member is disclosed. The input device has an absolute input mode and a relative input. In the absolute input mode, the input device determines a coordinate of a pointed point on a window of a display unit based on a coordinate of the manipulation member. In the relative input mode, the input device determines the pointed point on the window in a relative manner based on a two-dimensional displacement of the manipulation member with respect to a reference position, which is set when an input mode is switched into the relative input mode. When the manipulation member receives a load that causes the manipulation member to move beyond a predetermined range, the input device generates and applies a force corresponding to the load to the manipulation member.

    摘要: An in-vehicle display apparatus includes (i) an operation device having an operation knob, and (ii) a display control device having a display section. The operation device has a drive section which gives force to the operation knob. When the display section displays a display window to enable a scroll display in which several selection buttons are circulated, the display control device acquires a reactive force map. The map specifies that a vibration is applied to the operation knob when the cursor is located on the selection button at the tail end of the series of the selection buttons in the display window. The display control device then instructs the drive section to apply the vibration to the operation knob based on the acquired reactive force map.

The resistance voltage divider circuit 44 is constituted by a series connection of voltage dividing resistors 441 and 442. One end of the resistance voltage divider circuit 44 is connected to the plus terminal of the primary battery 271. The motor section has a motor casing, a motor housed in the motor casing and rotating the rotational shaft, bearings provided on both sides of the motor interposed between them on the rotational shaft, interposed between an inner surface of the motor casing and the rotational shaft, and rotatably supporting the rotational shaft. In the motor casing, a vent hole for venting air between a motor space in which the motor is disposed in the motor casing and an outside of the motor casing is formed.
