摘要: An evaporator has tubes, and evaporates working fluid therein by heat of exhaust gas. A condenser emits heat of the working fluid toward coolant so as to condense the working fluid, and returns the condensed working fluid to the evaporator. A fin for increasing an area for transmitting heat is disposed between the tubes, and is connected to the tubes. The fin has an operation force reducing part for reducing an operation force applied to the fin in accordance with a thermal expansion difference between the tubes. The operation force reducing part is disposed at a midpoint of the fin between the tubes.

摘要: A method for manufacturing an ink jet head by bonding with liquid-like adhesive a member at least having a discharge port for discharging ink, and a substrate having energy generating elements to generate energy for discharging ink comprises the steps of coating the liquid-like adhesive on the member or the substrate, the liquid-like adhesive containing at least ultraviolet curing cation polymeric starter and epoxy resin; irradiating ultraviolet rays to the liquid-like adhesive to activate the ultraviolet curing cation polymeric starter; positioning the member and the substrate without heating process; and heating in a state of the member and the substrate being positioned to cure the activated liquid-like adhesive. With the method thus structured, the ink jet head can be manufactured with excellent stability of preservation, while making it not only possible to position the ink discharge port and the energy generating element on the substrate of the ink jet head in high precision at low temperature for bonding but also, to implement high resistance to ink and heat after the adhesive has been cured.

摘要: An ink jet unit to which an ink container is detachably mountable, and which is further mountable to an ink jet recording apparatus so as to effect ink jet recording. The ink jet unit includes an ink jet head for ejecting ink for recording, an ink supply tube for receiving ink from the ink container and being provided at a bottom portion of the ink jet unit in fluid communication with the ink jet head, and an opening for permitting mounting of the ink container thereto. The opening is formed continuously, in such sides of the ink jet unit as take top and front positions when the ink jet unit is mounted to the ink jet recording apparatus. A cover is provided, at the top side of the ink jet unit. The cover includes at an inside thereof a substantially non-elastic material provided at least at an inner corner between the top side and a rear side of the ink jet unit, and further includes an inclined portion which increases resistance against insertion of the ink container through the opening during mounting of the ink container as well as a substantially horizontal portion, all for urging the ink container downwardly to mount the ink container for fluid communication with the ink supply tube.
