    摘要: A compressor has an internal refrigerant gas passage selectively connected to and disconnected with an external refrigerant circuit separately provided from the compressor. The compressor has a reciprocable piston in a cylinder bore formed in a housing for compressing gas supplied from the external refrigerant circuit to the internal refrigerant gas passage. A drive shaft is rotatably supported by the housing. A swash plate is supported on the drive shaft for integral rotation with and inclining motion with respect to the drive shaft. The swash plate is movable between a maximum incline and a minimum incline. A disconnecting apparatus disconnects the internal refrigerant gas passage from the external refrigerant circuit when the swash plate is at its minimum incline. A restricting member restricts the amount of gas to be passed through the internal refrigerant gas passage in association with the disconnecting apparatus when the swash plate moves.

    摘要: A compressor has a swash plate tiltable between maximum and minimum inclining angles with respect to a plane perpendicular to an axis of a drive shaft according to a difference between pressures in a crank chamber and a suction chamber. An internal gas passage includes the crank chamber, the suction chamber and a discharge chamber. The internal gas passage is connected to an external circuit separately provided from the compressor. The rotation of the drive shaft is converted to a reciprocating movement of a piston to vary a capacity of a cylinder bore. The piston compresses a gas supplied from the external circuit to the internal gas passage and discharges the gas to the external circuit. A inhibiting apparatus inhibits the circulation of the gas through the internal gas passage and the external circuit when the swash plate is located between the minimum inclining angle and a first inclining angle. The first inclining angle is greater than the minimum inclining angle of the swash plate.

    摘要: A variable displacement type compressor is disclosed. The compressor includes a housing, a cylinder bore within the housing, a piston located in the cylinder bore, a drive shaft rotatably supported by the housing, a rotary support mounted on the drive shaft, and a cam plate connected to the piston. The cam plate is supported tiltably on the drive shaft and is slidable in axial directions of the drive shaft. The cam plate inclines between a maximum inclination position and a minimum inclination position when the displacement of the compressor is changed. A first moment is applied to the cam plate by a compression reaction force of the piston when the compressor is operating. A hinge mechanism is located between the rotary support and the cam plate. The cam plate is rotated integrally with the drive shaft, the rotary support, and the hinge mechanism. An urging device is located between the rotary support and the cam plate for urging the cam plate toward the minimum go inclination angle position An applying mechanism applies a second moment to the swash plate in the same direction as the first moment when the compressor is not operating.

    摘要: A compressor has a housing body, a drive shaft, a swash plate, and a piston. The swash plate converts rotation of the drive shaft to reciprocating movement of the piston in a cylinder bore. The piston compresses gas supplied to the cylinder bore from an external circuit via a suction chamber and discharges the compressed gas to a discharge chamber. The swash plate is tiltable with respect to a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the drive shaft according to differential pressure between the crank chamber and the suction chamber. The swash plate controls the displacement of the compressor based on the inclination thereof. A spool is movable longitudinally between a first position and a second position in response to the inclination of the swash plate. The spool connects the external circuit with the suction chamber in the first position and disconnects the external circuit from the suction chamber in the second position. The housing body has a surface slidably engaged by the spool. A coating layer is provided on at least one of the spool and the slide surface to reduce frictional resistance occurring due to the sliding movement of the spool on the slide surface. A second coating layer is provided on an end surface of the spool to lubricate and thereby reduce frictional resistance with the housing surface along the periphery of the suction passage leading into the shutter chamber occurring due to rotation of the spool, and also to improve the seal between the end surface of the spool and the housing when in the second position closing off the suction passage.

    摘要: A swash plate type compressor is connected with an external refrigerant gas circuit. A device accommodated in the compressor disconnects the external circuit with the suction chamber when the swash plate is at the minimum inclining angle. A pressure decreasing passage creates the connection between the crank chamber and the suction chamber to decrease the pressure in the crank chamber. This passage releases the pressure in the crank chamber to the suction chamber when the pressure in the crank chamber is greater than the pressure in the suction chamber so that the swash plate is inclined toward the maximum inclining angle. An adjusting device adjusts the pressure in the pressure decreasing passage so that the pressure decreasing passage is opened to a greater degree when the swash plate is at the maximum inclining angle than when the swash plate is between the maximum and minimum inclining angles.
