摘要： A liquid crystal panel (10) includes an active matrix substrate on which a transistor (12), a pixel electrode (17), signal lines (15, 16) and backup wirings (8a, 8b) for recovering a defect in the signal line are formed; a color filter substrate on which a common electrode (counter electrode) is formed; and a liquid crystal material provided between the active matrix substrate and the color filter substrate. The backup wirings (8a, 8b) are (electrically) connected to the common electrode on the color filter substrate, through (i) a protection circuit (9) for discharging an undesired electric charge that occurs in the backup wirings (8a, 8b) and (ii) a sealing adhesive (6). With this configuration, it becomes possible to reduce problems (for instance, unexpected short-circuiting of the backup wiring and the signal line) caused by the undesired electric charge that occurs in the backup wirings.

A character 2, operable by an IRC client 5, is linked to or installed in a user terminal 8. Commands do not always have to be sent to all of the IRC client 5, and may be different according to the IRC client 5. The user terminal 8 detects the aforesaid command and sends it to the character 2. Characters at each user terminal 8 operate as specified by the command.

摘要： If it becomes necessary to add, to a past device information list (past list), a record of device information of a target removed from a network, and if the number of records in the past list is already at its maximum so that it is impossible to store any more records in the past list, a microprocessor of a controller decides the priority of the removed target, based on device information of the removed target and on information of the kind of controller as stored in a configuration ROM in the controller. From records stored in the past list, the microprocessor searches for a record having a priority lower than the priority of the removed target, one by one in order from the first record therein. If the microprocessor finds a record having such a lower priority, the microprocessor deletes from the past list such record having been first found, and adds to the past list a record of the device information regarding the removed target. If the microprocessor fails to find such a record, the microprocessor searches for a record, which has the same priority as the priority of the removed target, from the records in the past list one by one in order from the first record therein. 摘要： The present invention was made in order to provide a technology capable of safely ciphering compressed and encoded image data irrespective of lines or media and carrying out a correct decoding operation without any shifts in the frames of ciphered moving pictures. Further, so as to prevent giving any means of encoding from comparison of image ciphered data and so as to generate totally different ciphered image data from the same data compressed images, a processing is executed not on an ECB mode but on such modes as CBC, CFB, OFB or the like. Moreover, as an initial vector, information different for frames included in a header, that is, time information from the start of an image or a frame sequential number, is used. In this way, even if compressed images within adjacent frames are accidentally the same, totally different ciphered data can be obtained.

摘要： A liquid crystal display device (100) according to the present invention includes a plurality of pixels arrayed in a matrix, n number of the pixels (n is an even number of 4 or greater) being included in a color display pixel (CP). The liquid crystal display device includes an active matrix substrate (10) including a plurality of scanning lines (12) extending in a row direction and a plurality of signal lines (13) extending in a column direction; and a signal line driving circuit (3) that supplies, as a display signal, a gray scale voltage of a positive or negative polarity to each of the plurality of signal lines. The plurality of signal lines include a first type of signal line (13a) which does not intersect another signal line, and a second type of signal line (13b) which intersects a signal line adjacent thereto outside a display area in the state where an insulating film (16) is interposed therebetween. The active matrix substrate further includes a correction line (40) which is provided in the vicinity of an intersection region (IR) where the second type of signal line intersects the adjacent signal line, is electrically separated from the plurality of signal lines, and is at a floating potential.
