摘要: Provided are a coding device, a decoding device, and methods thereof, with which it is possible to implement high sound quality coding and decoding in layered coding (scalable coding or embedded coding) wherein each layer comprises a plurality of bit rates (multi-rate). In the coding device (100), a feature analysis unit (101) extracts feature values of an input signal. Then a bit rate determination unit (102) determines, on the basis of the feature values of the input signal, a combination of a coding rate (low region coding rate) of a low region signal coding unit (104) which carries out coding of a low region part of the input signal and a coding rate (high region coding rate) of a high region signal coding unit (105) which carries out coding of a high region part of the input signal.

摘要: The objective of the present invention is to suppress deterioration of call quality caused by transcoding without interrupting a call even if a codec used by one of the terminals during communication is changed. A modification determination unit, in the case of detecting a modification of a codec used by one terminal of two terminals, determines whether or not to constrain the bandwidth of the first codec using a first codec of the other terminal and a second codec after modification by the first-mentioned one of the terminals. A signaling generation unit transmits, to the other terminal, signaling for limiting the bandwidth if the bandwidth is to be limited.

摘要: Provided is a terminal capable of determining the status of a communications and selecting an appropriate codec mode without applying a load to either a network or terminals, by using information held by the terminal as negotiation information. A UE (100) sends to a partner the codec mode selected from a plurality of candidate codec modes notified by the partner, when communications commence. The UE (100) comprises: a wireless receiver (600) that receives a first information relating to the characteristics of a network to which the partner is currently connected; an information comparison unit (606) that compares the first information and a second information relating to the characteristics of the network that the UE is currently connected to, and decides the communications format; and a mode determination unit (608) that selects the codec mode to be used, from among the candidates and based on the decided communications format.

摘要: Disclosed is a technique of efficiently collecting communication quality information with excellent responsiveness in wireless resource management. According to the technique, a RRM 110 distributes measurement content information showing measurement contents for recognizing a wireless communication status to each AP 230, and each AP stores the measurement content information. For example, to recognize a wireless resource use status of an AP, the RRM transmits trigger transmission instruction information to an eNB 150, as a result of which trigger information is transmitted throughout a communication area of the eNB. A UE 301 that has received the trigger information acquires the measurement content information from an AP (for example, AP_a 230a) to which it is connected, and performs a measurement process and reports a measurement result to the RRM via the eNB based on the measurement content information.

摘要: Provided is a technique to provide a handover processing method that allows a mobile terminal to be handed over seamlessly while preventing occurrence of double reservation. The method includes a step where a mobile terminal (100) decides to connect to a desired access network (113) and detects the possibility of occurrence of a network-initiated handover processing performed by a predetermined device of the communication network as one of the controlling entities, and a step where the mobile terminal transmits a connection request message requesting a connection to the desired access network, the connection request message including information to maintain the connection with the access network with which the mobile terminal is currently connecting, to a base station disposed in the desired access network based on a detection result of the detection step.

摘要: There is disclosed a technique which provides a node discovery method and others capable of detecting a TA allowing a quasi-optimized data route for the achievement of a quasi-optimized data route while guarding the location privacy of an MN. This technique comprises a step in which a mobile node 101 transmits a first message, which is a message with a predetermined format, for the discovery of a processing node to a communication node 102, a step in which a relay node capable of processing the message with the predetermined format makes a judgment on the basis of the first message, received, as to whether the relay node itself is the processing node, and a step in which, when the judgment shows that the relay node itself is the processing node, the relay node which has made the judgment and which is capable of processing the message with the predetermined format transmits a second message, indicating that it becomes the processing node, to the mobile node.

摘要: A technology is disclosed that provides an aggregation management method, an aggregate node, and a deaggregate node that can quickly and efficiently manage aggregation. The technology includes a step at which, when an aggregate node 111 moves from an aggregated area 120, the moved aggregate node transmits a release request message to a deaggregate node 113 positioned on the edge of the area before movement. The release request message requests release of a QoS path within the area configured from the position on the edge of the area before movement of the aggregate node itself to the position of the deaggregate node. The technology also includes a step at which the deaggregate node that receives the release request message releases the QoS path configured within the area based on the release request message.
