摘要： An electric circuit breaker for interrupting an electric circuit of a vehicle includes a circuit break section having an explosive used for exploding a part of an electric circuit by explosion, a detonating device for exploding the explosive by application of electric power to the explosive, a collision detection device for detecting a collision of the vehicle and, a controller which explodes the explosive by supply of an electric current for detonating purposes to the detonating device in response to a detection signal from the collision detection device. The circuit breaker further includes a housing having a cylindrical member, such as an inner cylindrical portion, and a cover for covering the opening of the inner cylindrical portion. Connector terminals are formed on both ends of the conductor and a horizontal target section to be broken is formed in the middle of the conductor. The horizontal target area is disposed in front of the opening of the cylindrical member and the connector terminals are led to the outside of the housing. The explosive and a filament serving as means for heating the explosive are provided in the cylindrical member. The blasting force of the explosive that causes explosion by heating acts on the horizontal target area in a concentrated manner.

摘要： An optical character reading system in which each character pattern is electronically scanned several times while a manually held scanner is moved over the character pattern. The recognition results from each scan are subjected to a selection process and a final signal recognition result is generated in which noise and inaccurate recognition results have been substantially eliminated. Data from a character scanner is classified into several different data types from which partial characteristics are determined. Signals representing the partial characteristics operate a memory circuit which produces the final recognition signal.

The conductor has a total sectional area of 0.05-0.30 mm.sup.2, a breaking load of more than 6 kgf, and an elongation at break not less than 2%.

摘要： A binary coding circuit for converting analog electrical signals produced by a photoelectric conversion device in parallel form in either a line or column direction into binary signals representative of a background region and a character region in which fluctuations in characteristics of the photoelectric conversion elements of the conversion device and effects due to inclination of the photoelectric conversion device relative to a sheet from which characters are to be read are corrected. A plurality of comparators and level setting circuits are provided for detecting background region representing levels of the analog electrical signals in the one of the column and line directions and to set the background region representing levels of the analog electrical signals in that one of the column and line directions equal to one another. The analog electrical signals are applied to first input terminals of the comparators to the second input terminals of which are applied a binary coding threshold voltage.
