摘要: An electrical power system protection device includes a circuit breaker and a switch connected in series to a power line. The protection device also has a current limiting element connected in parallel to the circuit breaker. When the level of electrical current flowing in the power line, detected by a current detector, has exceeded a predetermined first set level, a first over-current detector delivers immediately a trip command to the circuit breaker. As a consequence, fault current is commutated to the current limiting element so that any drop of voltage in the power line upstream of the circuit breaker is greatly suppressed. When a state in which a predetermined second set level is exceeded by the detected current level is continued beyond a predetermined period, a second over-current detector delivers an off command to the switch, thus protecting the upstream portion of the power line against the fault in this power line. The current level is set to fall within a range which activates a momentary element of an over-current relay of a receiving end breaker of a downstream sub-system connected to the power line. In the event of a failure in the downstream power line, the receiving end breaker is tripped immediately so that the sound portion of the power line is reset to a normal state of operation.

摘要: Provided is a Lundell type rotating machine with high efficiency and high output, which has a rigid and magnetically advantageous magnet retention structure. A rotor iron core includes laminated magnetic-pole members mechanically and magnetically coupled to two laminated magnetic end plates, which extend in an axial direction so as to be brought into meshing engagement with each other to constitute a Lundell type rotor iron core, and permanent magnets provided between the magnetic-pole members. The magnetic-pole members are retained in predetermined positions between the magnetic end plates by dovetail grooves of a non-magnetic retention body over substantially the entire lengths. The permanent magnets are held in direct contact with the magnetic-pole members so as to be interposed therebetween. Thus, the magnet retention structure which is mechanically rigid and magnetically highly efficient even when increased in size can be obtained.

In the dynamoelectric machine, first and second magnetic guidance members are fitted into first and second holding grooves that are disposed so as to extend axially on facing portions of first and second trough portions radially outside inner wall surfaces, and are disposed so as to span over first and second trough portions. First and second permanent magnets that are magnetically oriented in a reverse direction to a magnetic field that originates from a field coil are fitted into and held by interfitting grooves of the first and second magnetic guidance members so as to face inner circumferential surfaces near tip ends of second and first claw-shaped magnetic pole portions so as to have a predetermined clearance.

摘要: To equally assign processing to a plurality of processing units which perform drawing processing in parallel. The drawing data generating unit generates vectors from drawing data. The load estimated value calculating means obtains existence frequency of the vectors on each scan line as a load estimated value, and the processing responsibility range assignment unit assigns a drawing processing area within a page to each of the drawing processing units, on the basis of load estimated values and a reference value. The drawing data storage control unit transfers a vector required for drawing processing in a drawing processing area assigned to each of the drawing processing units to a corresponding drawing processing unit. Each of the drawing processing units performs drawing processing using the transferred vector. The processing result storage control unit synthesizes and outputs the results of drawing processing in the drawing processing unit.

摘要: In an electrochemical detection method using an apparatus including a first vessel and a second vessel, a reference electrolytic solution in the second vessel, first and second closely spaced working electrodes immersed in a sample solution for measurement in the first vessel, a stripping electrode immersed in the reference electrolytic solution, and an ionic conductor arranged between the first vessel and the second vessel, the reference electrolytic solution contains an electrolyte which can be deposited and dissolved by an electrochemical reaction by applying a potential to the stripping electrode. In a first stage, a pre-electrolysis potential is applied to the first working electrode with the stripping electrode being connected to the second working electrode to deposit the electrolyte in the reference electrolytic solution on the stripping electrode. In a second stage, after the second working electrode is disconnected from the stripping electrode, the potential of the stripping electrode is swept to measure a current generated when the electrolyte deposited on the stripping electrode in the first stage is dissolved from the stripping electrode, and the concentration of an analyte exiting in the sample solution for measurement is determined from the measured stripping current.

摘要: The present invention aims at providing a method and a device therefor which can effectively as well as accurately bury a cable under marine beds not only when a cable is newly laid and buried but also when a cable has to be reburied. The method and the device according to the present invention are characterized in that a burying device is guided to approach the cable by using a travelling member provided on said burying device, a travelling control mechanism thereof being controlled by a receiving output from a transmitter which is mounted on the cable in advance by a receiver provided on the burying device, that the cable is caught and held by a cable engaging member of said burying device while the burying device is detecting the buried cable track and travelling therealong, and that at the same time an excavation member of said burying device digs and forms a groove while the burying device guides and buries the cable within the excavated groove. The method according to the present invention is further characterized in that the burying device is provided with a travelling device which is controlled by the output from a receiver which receives the output from a transmitter on the cable, that said device body is provided at the middle portion thereof with a cable engaging member having a cable engaging mechanism as well as a buried cable route detection mechanism and an excavation member.

摘要: Dynamoelectric machine having holding grooves recessed into yoke portions with openings on respective facing portions of inner wall surfaces of trough portions, at axially inner ends of the yoke portions, having axial groove directions, and an end surface in a groove length direction constitutes a stopping surface. Magnet material holders are disposed spanning the trough portions radially inside inner circumferential surfaces near tip ends of claw-shaped magnetic pole portions, fitted from axially inside into each holding groove, are recessed to face each other on the trough portions restricting circumferential and radial motion by inner wall surfaces of the holding grooves and axially outward movement restricted by the stopping surface. Interfitting grooves having openings on surfaces facing the inner circumferential surfaces near the tip ends, having axial groove directions, and passing through in the axial direction, and permanent magnets fitted into the interfitting grooves are held by the magnet material holders.
