    摘要: Heat transfer members (H4, H3, H2, H1) are sequentially disposed within an exhaust port (18), within a pre-catalytic device (34), and on the downstream of a main catalytic device (35); the exhaust port (18), the pre-catalytic device (34), and the main catalytic device (35) being provided in an exhaust passage (33) of an internal combustion engine. The heat transfer surface density (heat transfer area/volume) of the heat transfer members (H4) on the upstream side of the exhaust passage (33) is the lowest, and that of the heat transfer members (H1) on the downstream side is the highest. Thus, even though the temperature of the exhaust gas is higher on the upstream side of the exhaust passage (33) than it is on the downstream side of the exhaust passage (33), a uniform heat transfer performance across all of the heat exchangers (H4, H3, H2, H1) may be maintained.

    摘要: First heat exchangers (H4, H3, H2) are disposed within an exhaust port (18), within a pre-catalytic device (34), and on the downstream of a main catalytic device (35); the exhaust port (18), the pre-catalytic device (34), and the main catalytic device (35) being provided in each exhaust passage (33) of a multicylinder internal combustion engine. These first heat exchangers (H4, H3, H2) are independently provided for each of the exhaust passages (33), and a second heat exchanger (H1) is disposed in a section where these exhaust passages (33) are combined. Since the first heat exchangers (H4, H3, H2) are disposed on the upstream side of the exhaust passage (33), high heat exchange efficiency can be obtained by high temperature exhaust gas, and, moreover, the occurrence of exhaust interference can be avoided, thereby preventing any decrease in the output of the internal combustion engine.

The radial movements of each of the pistons (41) and each of the vanes (42) are substantially stopped, so that the volumes of each of the cylinders (39) and each of the vane chambers (54) are not changed, for a period from the end of an exhaust stroke at which a gas-phase working medium is discharged from the cylinder (39) and the vane chamber (54) to the start of an intake stroke at which the supplying of the gas-phase working medium is started. Thus, it is possible to prevent the generation of a water hammer phenomenon due to a liquid-phase working medium confined in the cylinder (39) and the vane chamber (54).

A first sub word select line arranged in parallel to the main word line is extended to a plurality of sub arrays arranged in the extension direction of the word line. A second sub word select line is connected to the corresponding one of said first sub word select line to be extended orthogonally to a word line driving circuit area of an adjacent sub array. In the sub word line driving circuit provided for each sub array, a sub word line is selected and deselected by signals supplied from said main word line and said second sub word select line.

    摘要: A digital image filtering method and system are provided. A first matrix of a plurality of pixels is selected from a digital image to be displayed. The luminosity values of each of the pixels in the pixel matrix are analysed and the luminosity difference between the maximum and minimum luminosity values thereof is calculated. The central pixel of the matrix is then classified according to the luminosity difference in comparison to a predetermined threshold luminosity value, and the above selection, analysis and classification is repeated for each of the pixels of the image in turn. A target pixel is then selected from the classified pixels for further analysis, wherein a second pixel matrix of which the target pixel is the central pixel is selected, the classification of the pixels surrounding the target pixel in the second matrix is analysed, and the target pixel is filtered to an extent dependent upon the classification analysis.
