摘要: Disclosed is an optical information recording medium having a printable region on a label surface which is extended to a clamping area, and label information such as a name of a manufacturer is printed in the clamping area. The optical information recording medium includes a substrate having label information pits serving as non-recording and non-reproducing pits that are formed in the clamping area and a reflective layer laminated on the label information pits, and a dummy substrate to be attached to the substrate through an adhesive layer formed on the reflective layer. The multiple label information pits are formed substantially in an entire region of the clamping area to display the label information which emerges by linking portions where the label information pits are not formed.

摘要: An optical information-recording medium has a plurality of lands and grooves formed on a substrate. In-groove pits are formed at the bottom of a part of the grooves. The widths of the in-groove pits in the radial direction of the substrate are suppressed from being widened irrelevant to the lengths in the groove direction. Predetermined shapes of the land and the groove are maintained for the shape of the land disposed adjacently to the in-groove pit without greatly eroding or scraping the side wall. A recording signal obtained from land prepits can be reliably detected on the optical information-recording medium manufactured by using the substrate formed with the land prepits disposed adjacently to the in-groove pits.

摘要: An optical information-recording medium includes a substrate formed with a plurality of lands and grooves, and a recording layer and a reflective layer formed on the substrate. The grooves include a first groove, a second groove in which pits are formed, and a third groove which is arranged between the first groove and the second groove and which is formed with a groove having a width wider than a width of the first groove. Land pits, which indicate position information, are formed at a land portion in an area in which the second groove is provided. Shifted land prepits, which indicate position information, are formed in areas in which the first and third grooves are provided. It is possible to obtain a stable radial push-pull signal, and it is possible to suppress the reproduction error.

摘要: An optical information-recording medium having in-groove pits, which is excellent in recording and reproduction characteristics and tracking characteristics, is provided. A method for producing the optical information-recording medium is also provided. Further, a stamper to be used for producing a substrate for the optical information-recording medium and a method for producing the same are also provided. In the optical information-recording medium of the present invention, the in-groove pits, which have flat bottom surfaces, are arranged on a groove which has a flat bottom surface. Therefore, it is possible to increase the difference between a height position of an interface between a recording layer and a reflective layer at a groove portion formed with the recording layer containing an organic dye and a height position of the interface between the recording layer and the reflective layer at an in-groove pit portion, as compared with an optical information-recording medium in which a wide-width portion and a narrow-width portion are formed on a groove. Accordingly, information, which is recorded on the in-groove pits, can be reproduced at a high modulation factor and at a low jitter.

摘要: In a broadcasting receiver, to quickly switch channels of the received multiplexed broadcasting signals at a high response speed to improve the convenience for a viewer, when broadcasting signals of a plurality of channels are to be code-division-multiplexed and broadcasted from a ground broadcasting station (BC1, BC2) to a broadcasting receiver (MS) in a service area via a geostationary satellite (SAT), the broadcasting signals are multiplexed and transmitted after matching the spreading code phase between the channels in the ground broadcasting station (BC1, BC2). Alternatively, the spreading code phase difference between the channels of a CDM broadcasting signal arriving from the ground broadcasting station (BC1, BC2) is detected in the geostationary satellite (SAT), and the broadcasting signal is transmitted to the broadcasting receiver (MS) after matching the spreading code phase between the channels on the basis of the detection result.

摘要: A high-speed information processing in the information processing unit having a multiplexed bus is provided. A unit having a bus grant is stored in the next lowest priority unit memory circuits, and in the next bus arbitration cycle, bus arbitration is carried out by setting the lowest priority to the unit stored in the next lowest priority unit memory circuits. When a fault occurs in one of a plurality of buses and then the faulty bus recovered a normal operation status, the bus status supervising circuits output has fault recovery detecting signals and match the memory contents of the next lowest priority unit memory circuits together. With the above arrangement, an average bus waiting time can be minimized and the bus waiting time can be limited.

摘要: A failure is detected immediately and certainly, and continuation of processing in an unstable state is prevented. A first error detection code is generated from first information which is output as a result of execution of a predetermined program conducted by a first processor. A second error detection code is generated from second information which is output as a result of execution of the program conducted by a second processor which is configured so as to output the same computation result as that of the first processor. It is detected whether the first information is the same as the second information, and it is detected whether the first error detection code is the same as the second error detection code. Writing the first information or the second information into a main memory is controlled on the basis of a result of the detection.

摘要: A magneto-optical disk apparatus and an adjustment method of a head mechanism are provided for strictly and quickly adjusting a setting position of a magnetic head with respect to an optical axis of an optical head. The adjustment method is executed by the following steps. A magnetic super resolution type magneto-optical disk is mounted to the magneto-optical disk apparatus provided with the optical head and the magnetic head. Then, an external magnetic field from the magnetic head is applied onto the magneto-optical disk as applying a laser beam of a reproduction level onto the magneto-optical disk. Then, a reproduction signal output read from the magneto-optical disk is detected concurrently with the application of the external magnetic field. Next, a fine adjustment mechanism is operated so that the reproduction signal output is made maximum with respect to the direction of the external magnetic field, for the purpose of sequentially changing a setting position of the magnetic head with respect of the optical axis of the optical head.
