The volumes of the respective stored jobs are recognized by a job volume recognition means. A processing priority determination means determines an output processing priority order of the stored jobs based on the recognized job volumes. An interrupt can be generated for a priority job even during output processing of another job according to the output processing priority order.

    摘要: A sender device 1 stores, in header information about image information, information indicating that attribute information and image data rearranged in sequence, and produces image information by means of storing attribute information and image data in a predetermined sequence. The thus-produced image information is sent to a receiver device 2 by way of a network line 3. When receipt of image information is initiated, the receiver device 2 refers to the header information, thereby determining presence/absence, in the header information, of information indicating that attribute information and image data are stored in a predetermined sequence. When it has been determined that attribute information and image data are arranged in a predetermined sequence, image data included in the received image information are immediately decompressed, and the thus-decompressed image data are output in the form of a record or display.

The digital image recording system comprises transmission data amount select means for switching, for every page, the color and density of each pixel of the image data as read by the image read means and transferred to the storage means. Format select means switch the output format of the data image output section with every page according to the switched transmission data amount. Job entering sets a copy job, such as the type of documents, page order and the number of copies. Control means control the preset processing unit, the amount of transmission data in the data amount select means, and the output format in the output format select means according to input data in the job entering means.

    摘要: A data compression method and device for an image processor such as a digital copying machine. The picture image information is divided into blocks and the blocks are characterized by the variation in density level found within each block. The individual blocks are then encoded. During encoding, the allocation of the chromatic gradation information and the resolution information are varied in accordance with the characteristics of the particular block. The amount of chromatic gradation information and the amount of resolution information are inversely proportional to each other. Because gradation information and the resolution information are varied, the total amount of information in each encoded block is constant. Therefore, the data compression is tailored to the individual requirements of each image block, but the total amount of information in each compressed block is constant. Because the data compression ratio is constant, storage and processing needs for the compressed information can be accurately and easily predicted before the data is compressed.
