To the surface of the above shaped article of a thermoplastic resin to which the above cured layer of an addition polymerization type silicone composition does not adhere, there may adhere another cured layer of the above addition polymerization type silicone composition. To either or both of these cured layers, there may further adhere a layer of the above thermoplastic resin, other thermoplastic resin, a silicone rubber, a silicone resin, glass, ceramics or a metal.

The above composite shaped article has a very high bonding strength between the vinyl chloride resin shaped article and the cured layer of an addition polymerization type silicone composition.

摘要： There is provided a catalyst for a water gas shift reaction in a hydrogen gas which is able to effectively remove CO in the hydrogen gas within a broader temperature range. Such a catalyst for the water gas shift reaction is characterized in that a metal oxide carrier supports at least platinum. The catalyst can be used for removing carbon monoxide in the hydrogen gas. Particularly, such a catalyst can be used in the water gas shift reaction for removing carbon monoxide in a reformed gas in a fuel cell generation system.

A shaker 8, which is fixed on the floorboard 5, excites the floorboard linearly and reciprocally by a weight 12 movable along a ball screen shaft 11 with a motor 10. The inertia force of the floorboard 5 generates, in a real-size and real-time scale, vibration for a main structure to which a vibration-controlling damper 15 is installed. The vibration of the floorboard 5 is inputted to the damper 15 and the dynamic response of the damper is observed by a computer 14.

摘要： In a fire alarm system one of a fire receiver and terminal devices transmits the same signals in opposite transmission directions to first and second loop-signal lines. The remaining ones of the fire receiver and terminal devices receive the signals transmitted through the first and second loop-signal lines and detect whether there is an abnormality in transmission by detecting differences in the receiving times of the signals. Consequently, an abnormality of transmission is detected immediately. A fire receiver or terminal device which detects any abnormality immediately causes the first and second loop-signal lines connected with each other to form a signal loop-back path, thereby transmitting signals to the entire loop-signal line except to the position where the abnormality occurs. As a result, the reliability of signal transmission is significantly improved.

摘要： A thermal printer wherein a sheet of recording paper is interposed between two drums provided on axially opposite sides of a shaft of a platen roll facing a line-type thermal head and an endless belt mounted on outer peripheries of the drum. One way clutches provided on a shaft of the drum will cause the paper to rotate together with the drums during recording and the recording paper is driven by the endless belt during paper feed and delivery operations to slide relative to the drums. The sheet of paper is fed to a lower portion of an open portion of the drums and is removed from an upper portion of the open portion of the drums so that the feed and delivery of the sheet of paper can be effected upon rotation of the drums in one direction, and the printing operation is started after a detection of a trailing end of the sheet of paper so that the printing operation can be reformed regardless of the length of the sheet of paper immediately after the feed of the sheet of paper.
