    摘要: [Problems] To provide an optical film for a liquid crystal display that has good viewing angle compensation effects such as preventing color dropout (coloration) and achieving high contrast in all directions when used in a liquid crystal display.[Means for solving problems] An optical film of the invention comprises at least one film (a) layer made of a cyclic olefin resin exhibiting positive birefringence and a film (b) layer made of a polymer exhibiting negative birefringence laminated on said film (a) layer, and satisfies (1) 0.1≦Nz-coefficient≦0.9, (2) 0.5≦R450/R550≦0.9, (3) 1.0≦R650/R550≦1.3 and (4) 200 nm≦R550≦350 nm; wherein R450, R550 and R650 represent the retardation R at wavelengths of 450 nm, 550 nm and 650 nm, respectively.

    摘要: The thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention comprises (A) a cycloolefin-based polymer and (B) a vinyl-based polymer having a polar group, has a glass transition temperature of not lower than 100° C. and has a difference in glass transition temperature between the polymers (A) and (B) of less than 50° C. The optical film of the present invention comprises the thermoplastic resin composition of the invention. According to the present invention, it is possible to improve development of retardation at a low stress in the film stretching while retaining excellent heat resistance and optical properties and maintaining wavelength dispersion properties. The optical film of the invention exhibits properties that the dependence of retardation of a transmitted light on wavelength, said retardation being obtained by stretch orientation of the film, becomes larger as the wavelength becomes longer (positive wavelength dispersion properties), has low water absorption and low coefficient of photoelasticity, and is excellent in adhesion or bonding properties to other materials.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a molded article includes applying a photosensitive composition to at least one of a first plate and a second plate to form a coated film. The first plate is pressed against the second plate with the coated film therebetween. The coated film of the photosensitive composition is exposed. At least one of the first plate and the second plate has a pattern including concave and convex on its surface, and the coated film conforms to the pattern in the step of pressing the first plate against the second plate. The photosensitive composition includes a thioether compound, a photopolymerization initiator other than a phosphine oxide compound and an α-aminoalkylphenone compound, and a compound having 1 to 6 (meth)acryloyl groups in one molecule.

    摘要: The present invention is intended to provide a thermoplastic resin composition which exhibits excellent compatibility while retaining low birefringence and is excellent in weathering resistance and heat resistance, an optical film which is obtained from the thermoplastic resin composition and a retardation film which is excellent in weathering resistance and heat resistance and has reciprocal wavelength dispersion properties.
