    摘要： A projection display apparatus includes: a light amount sensor which detects an amount of light emitted from an array light source; a deterioration rate calculator which acquires an amount of light of a measurement target light source from the amount of light detected by the light amount sensor; a reference light amount storage which stores a reference amount of light of an amount of light emitted from plurality of solid state light sources, for each of the solid state light sources; and a light source controller which controls the amount of light emitted from the plurality of solid state light sources for each of the solid state light sources, and the deterioration rate calculator determines whether the measurement target light source has deteriorated, in accordance with a result of a comparison between the amount of light detected by the light amount sensor, and the reference amount of light.

    摘要： A detection unit detects an entering object that will enter at least a projection space. When an entering object has been detected by a first detection unit, a controller initiates safety processing, the safety processing being milder than safety processing that is initiated when an error has occurred in the projection display apparatus itself. For example, when an entering object has been detected, the controller controls components of the projection display apparatus so as to switch to the projection of a black image and so as to maintain the state of the projection display apparatus, excluding the switching.

The projection display apparatus includes: an imager controller that controls the imager to display a test pattern image in which a characteristic point is defined by at least three adjacent regions; an acquisition unit that acquires a captured image of the test pattern image from an imaging element configured to capture the test pattern image projected on the projection surface; and an adjustment unit that identifies the characteristic point included in the captured image on the basis of the captured image acquired by the acquisition unit and adjusts an image to be projected on the projection surface on the basis of the identified characteristic point. The at least three adjacent regions surround the characteristic point and are adjacent to the characteristic point.

    摘要： A projection display apparatus according to a first feature includes: an imager that modulates light emitted from a light source; and a projection unit that projects the image light modulated by the imager onto a projection plane. The projection plane includes a projectable region where the image light can be projected. The projectable region includes a projection region on which the image light is projected based on an image signal and a non-projection region other than the projection region. The projection display apparatus further includes: an adjustment unit that adjusts the shape of the projection region within the projectable region; and a control unit that displays additional information at least in the non-projection region within the projectable region.
