    摘要: This invention relates to the field of electrical connectors, and particularly concerns electrical connectors with multiple contacts requiring keying of the mating connector parts. With prior art devices, when more than one connector pair is used in a system, different connector parts must be chosen which have a different keying configuration for the key and groove. With another prior art device, which uses a single type connector part, it is necessary to sacrifice one contact position in the connectors. The present invention overcomes the deficiencies of the prior art noted above by providing a keying device which permits manufacture and production of a single type of male or female connector part and yet does not require the sacrifice of contact positions within the connector parts to effectuate the keying. The invention therefore provides an improved connector keying device for keying mating first and second connector parts to assure proper connection between the parts and to prevent connection to other connector parts of unlike keying. In accordance with the invention, there is provided a key mount affixed to the first connector part and adapted to receive a key member mounted thereto. An appropriate key member is removably attached to the key mount. A key member receiver is mounted on the second connector part and has a key member-receiving slot therein aligned with and slidingly receiving the key member when the first and second connector parts are mated.

    摘要: An electronic card receiving device includes a card holder forming a card receiving space in the device for receiving an electronic card, a card latching mechanism for holding the electronic card in position in the card receiving space formed by the card holder, a contacting mechanism for electrically connecting the device to contacts of the electronic card held in position, and a card pushing mechanism for disconnecting the device from the electronic card and pushing it out of the device. The card pushing mechanism comprises a first ejecting plate and a second ejecting plate slidable in directions of inserting and removing the electronic card. The first ejecting plate comprises an abutting portion for applying a force to an inserted electronic card to push it in the direction of removing the card. The second ejecting plate comprises a stopper guide for obtaining an initial stable condition of the second ejecting plate, a latched condition of the inserted card and a transitional condition of the second ejecting plate during its sliding. When an electronic card is inserted into and removed from the device, an area where card terminals are rubbed by contact pins and time for such a rubbing are very small and short, so that the contact pins are scarcely worn and the card terminals of the electric card are not damaged to ensure high reliability of the system of this kind.

    摘要: An improved connector for terminating flexible parallel conductors in which a male part has a length of distal surface about which an end of a flexible group of parallel conductors is bent. The male part, with the group of parallel conductors bent thereabout is inserted into a female part having a closed slot therein and a plurality of contacts along one of the walls thereof. Upon mating of the two connector parts, the contacts of the female part electrically engages respective ones of the parallel conductors. Various means are provided for keeping the conductors aligned during the mating action and latch members on both male and female parts cooperate to releasably secure the two parts together.

    摘要: A miniature multiple electrical connector consists of a plug connector and a receptacle connector having an insulating block and a metal shell. The metal shell is fixed to the insulating block by fitting anchoring protrusions provided along both sides of the insulating block in anchoring apertures of fixing tongues provided on the metal shell. When the plug connector is being inserted into the receptacle connector, the metal shell of the receptacle connector is likely to be deformed by a metal shell of the plug connector. In order to prevent such a deformation of the metal shell, there is provided means for anchoring the center of the metal shell weakest in mechanical strength to the insulating block or means for preventing application of a force to the center of the metal shell when the plug connector is being inserted into the receptacle connector.

    摘要: Fiber waste generated adjacent the knitting section of the knitting machine and adjacent yarn feeding devices of the machine is blown to a filter adjacent the top of the machine. The lint is removed from the filter by a rotatable filter cleaner and then is transported by suction to a vacuum device outside of the machine. A blower for blowing fiber waste from the yarn feeding devices is mounted upon a support ring and undergoes reciprocal movement about a path of travel defined by such ring. In one embodiment the ring undergoes rotational movement and the blowing means moves with it, while in another embodiment the ring is stationary and the blowing means moves relative to it.

    摘要: An insulation-piercing connector includes a connector main body made of an insulating support block having inclined bases inclined in the same direction and a reverse direction and contacts embedded therein to expose contact tails. The contact tails are arranged in first, second, third and fourth rows in parallel with and spaced from each other and staggered or shifted from each other. A cover includes inclined bases inclined in reverse directions to those of the mating inclined bases of the connector main body and receiving slots for receiving the contact tails of the connector main body. Inclined surfaces of the inclined bases of the connector main body and the cover are curved surfaces. The first and second rows and the third and fourth rows of the contact tails are arranged in symmetry with respect to tops of the curved surfaces, respectively. The inclined bases of the connector main body and the cover are provided with protrusions for guiding the connection wires.

    摘要: A contact for a connector, which includes two opposed contact elements for receiving therebetween a male contact of a mating connector. Each the contact element is provided with one or more protrusions on an opposed surface for embracing the male contact. Protrusions of the two opposed contact elements extend to that portions of the opposed contact elements which are devoid of the protrusions so as to overlap each other before the male contact is inserted between the contact elements. With this arrangement, even if the male contact is very thin, pressing force required to securely pressing the male contact by the contact elements is certainly obtained. The contact and the male contact are securely contacted without any torsional force and other forces which would otherwise be caused on these contacts.
