摘要: A network component in communication with a call message system is disclosed. The network component includes a configurable communications portion and a configurable processor portion. The communications portion is configured to detect a call indicative of a call to a mobile device. The processor portion is configured to determine an originator of the call. The processor portion is also configured to determine a genre of the call. The determination of the genre of the call is based at least in part on the originator of the call. The genre of the call is compared to a predetermined genre. The processor portion is configured to terminate the call or to provide the call to the call message system based on the comparison of the genre of the call to the predetermined genre.

摘要: Intelligent call transcript systems and methods are disclosed. An intelligent call transcript system can create a transcript of a telephonic communication and supplement the transcript with additional information automatically or upon request. Additional information may be added when key words are detected, such as adding acronym expansion when an acronym is detected or adding identifying information to an important task when mention of the task is detected. Portions of the transcript may also be sent as messages, text-based or audio, upon detection of key words or at the instruction of a user or device.

摘要: Methods and systems for use in connection with a fitness routine and/or an exercise apparatus. In one such method, fitness information is stored in a fitness analysis system and operative communication is established with an exercise apparatus and/or a wireless communication device. A fitness information request is received at the fitness analysis system, and the system sends a setting associated with the exercise apparatus to facilitate a workout using an exercise apparatus. The system receives exercise information corresponding to the workout, and updates fitness information during the workout. The updated fitness information is analyzed to generate associated with the exercise apparatus to facilitate a subsequent workout.

摘要: An audio interface adapted to reduce a subscriber voice may receive a subscriber voice and a background noise. The subscriber voice may then be compared to the to the background noise. If the received subscriber voice is louder than the received background noise, the audio interface may output a message to the cellular telephone subscriber indicating the subscriber may reduce his speaking volume. Additionally, an audio interface may process a voice waveform that corresponds to the subscriber voice and a background waveform that corresponds to the background noise to generate a substantially opposite voice waveform and a substantially opposite background waveform respectively. The substantially opposite voice waveform and background waveform may be substantially out of phase from the voice waveform and background waveform respectively and output via one or more output ports of the audio interface.

In one such method, fitness information is stored in a memory and operative communication is established with an exercise apparatus. At least a subset of the fitness information is sent to the exercise apparatus to facilitate a user workout using the exercise apparatus. Exercise information corresponding to the user workout is received from the exercise apparatus, and the at least a subset of the fitness information is updated in the memory according to the received exercise information.

摘要: A phone call is enhanced by the addition of localized information. In an example embodiment, a call is placed between a first device and a second wireless device. The call enhancement system is employed to determine a specific geographic location of the second wireless device. The system then abstracts the specific geographic location of the second wireless device into a general geographic location of the second wireless device. The degree of abstraction employed is determined by reference to a configurable privacy setting. The system retrieves content associated with the general geographic location of the second wireless device and packages it for transmission to the first device. The content is transmitted to the first device for presentation on a display of the first device.

摘要: A system for locating a device in a wireless network that caches a known location and sets an expiration time based on the location. The system correlates the location with known places, such as movie theaters, restaurants, etc. to set the expiration time. For example, if a device was known to be at a movie theater, the expiration time would be set to a longer period of time. However, if the device was determined to be in a moving location, the expiration time would be set to a shorter period of time. The system also includes a mechanism to query the cached location based on a current time of the query and a granularity variable the accounts for a geographic area in which the device is located. The system also accounts for special locations where the mobile device will likely not be moving for long periods of time, or locations where the mobile device may move great distances between determinations of actual location.

摘要: Apparatus, methods and computer-readable storage media for integrating visual voicemail within a threaded communication environment are presented herein. A method can include: displaying, via an interface, a thread of messaging content; receiving a visual voicemail; and integrating a display of the visual voicemail within the thread of messaging content. The method can further include generating sound based on a communication included in the visual voicemail, in response to receiving an input via the interface. Further, the method can include integrating the display of the visual voicemail within a multi-modal conversation thread. Furthermore, the thread of messaging can be included in an instant messaging window including SMS and/or MMS messages. Moreover, the display of the visual voicemail can be embedded within a social media based interface. The method can further include receiving a transcription of the visual voicemail; and displaying the transcription within the thread of messaging content.
