摘要： A communication terminal for displaying a predetermined-area image, which is an image of a part of a whole image, includes circuitry. The circuitry receives first predetermined information specifying a first predetermined area, the first predetermined information being transmitted from another communication terminal displaying a first predetermined-area image, which is an image of the first predetermined-area. The circuitry calculates a position of the first predetermined area with respect to a second predetermined area, based on the first predetermined information received and second predetermined information specifying the second predetermined area, the second predetermined area being an area of a second predetermined-area image being displayed by the communication terminal. The circuitry controls a display to display the second predetermined-area image including at least one of relative position information indicating the position calculated and direction information indicating a direction of the first predetermined area with respect to the second predetermined area.

摘要： An image communication system includes a first communication terminal and a second communication terminal. The first communication terminal acquires an image captured by an image capturing device. The second communication terminal receives the image from the first communication terminal via a network, and displays the image on a screen of a display. The first communication terminal includes first circuitry that, in response to receipt of an operation of switching a view mode related to viewing of the image, transmits the image and first viewable area information to the second communication terminal. The first viewable area information is related to a viewable area of the image to be displayed on the screen. The second communication terminal includes second circuitry that receives the image and the first viewable area information and displays the viewable area of the image on the screen based on the first viewable area information.

摘要： A communication terminal includes circuitry that displays a first image corresponding to a first area of a whole image shared by communication terminals, and stores first terminal information identifying a first one of the communication terminals that causes a second one of the communication terminals to display an image being displayed by the first communication terminal. The circuitry receives second terminal information and viewable area information from a third one of the communication terminals that displays a second image corresponding to a second area of the whole image. The second terminal information identifies the third communication terminal. The viewable area information represents the second area. When the first terminal information and the second terminal information are the same, the circuitry determines whether an operation state of the first image is an operating state, and if so, displays the second image after the operation state shifts to a standby state.

The circuitry reads a two-dimensional code displayed on a communication terminal and acquired with the imaging device, and acquires setting information for using a service provided by a content distribution system that distributes content via a communication network. The setting information is represented by the read two-dimensional code. The circuitry further connects the image capturing apparatus to the communication network with network connection information included in the acquired setting information, and distributes the image data acquired by the imaging device to the content distribution system via the communication network connected to the image capturing apparatus.
